About this ebook
The Crowley Foundation is a community based 501(c) 3 designed to provide youth in Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma with social, emotional, and leadership development opportunities. For over ten years the foundation has been hosting our core programs for males, in addition to providing one on one support and ongoing programming in middle and high schools throughout the academic year.
The Foundation’s core programs include:
• boys2MEN Leadership Summit
• boys2MEN Fall Workshop
• Relationship Series
• Career Exploration Workshops
• One-to-One & Group Mentoring
Our foundation has served over 4,500 males over the last ten years. The young men who participate in our programs become positive role models in their communities. They graduate from high school and go to college. Our class of 2017 achieved 100% high school graduation rates and 100% college acceptance rates. The foundation and individual leadership has received both national and local recognition as a part of the national ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ Initiative.
We strive to create opportunities for mentorship for our participants. We connect participants with community mentors that become extensions of support in the lives of the young men. Additionally, our former participants become ambassadors and return to become mentors to the next generation, which has created a powerful pipeline of resources and success.
It is our goal to expand this programming to a larger segment of our population. The needs in our communities are overwhelming. Your gifts help us provide valuable services and programming to low income, underrepresented and underserved males leading to the creation of sustainable growth for the future.
We hope that you will become our partner in transforming lives.
