ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
My Unitarian Universalist Minister Dr. Steven Meredith Garmon, without whose advice this book would not have been possible. Truly a Unitarian Universalist gentleman and a hero among all people.
Cindy Peterson-Dana for her mentoring, wisdom, and patience—and because she always gave me hope and never gave up on me.
Thom Federn for his unconditional positive regard and extreme intellect, knowledge, and wisdom.
My special friends Norma, Justin, Carol, Paula, and Lisa.
My publishing consultant, Chase Bay, who whipped me into shape—although sometimes a bit too much, perhaps. I appreciate it anyway.
