About this ebook

It is February 14, 1967 in Maplewood, Tennessee, when little Belinda enters the world believing that her father’s life has just ended in a railroad accident. With help from the midwife, Ms. Elaine, who fervently prays for a way to help, the community joins together to assist the family in their time of need.
As Ms. Elaine’s steadfast faith guides the family through their difficult times, Belinda grows up beside her older brother, Marcus, who is determined to loyally care for his sister and mother. While Belinda witnesses the power of prayer and faith in God in every aspect of her life, she has no doubt she is loved not just by her family, but also her friends and the community. As she matures into a young woman prepared to step into the next chapter in her life, Belinda discovers the importance of forgiveness, loving others unconditionally, and putting God first, no matter what her hardships may be.
In this inspirational novel, a little girl who grows up believing she’s fatherless, until her life takes an unusual turn, she learns to rely on faith and the power of prayer to carry her through her challenges and a fruitful path in life!

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."

    Introduction

T his book is all about how to love someone without measuring how much you should love them. It will take you to a new spiritual level in life. It will teach you not to judge and to forgive even when it hurts to forgive.

That does not suggest you should forget what happened to you in the past, because our minds will always reflect back to the past.

The characters’ names are fictional. This story is not based on actual events or places.

We have to learn to pray always, so the Devil will not use our pasts to make us have bitter or ill feelings toward someone who has hurt us. When we make a mistake, we pray and ask God to forgive us, and God does forgive us time and time again, so we have to do the same when someone hurts us. We have to forgive them even if they don’t ask for forgiveness. That’s the only way we can move forward and not block our blessings that God has in store for us.

God has so much he wants to provide us with, but he can’t give it to us now, because we’re not ready. When we truly surrender it all, line up with God’s will, and make up in our minds to trust him no matter how bad the situation may be, our lives will be a lot better. Not easy; just better. God will grant us serenity that passes all understanding, and we will able to accept life’s challenges.

God first loved us; and he’s not asking us to love one another—he’s commanding that we love one another as we love our selves. I know that some people don’t trust their own intuitions; so that is when you need to confess your sins, pray, and learn to love yourself. After all, you’re not capable of loving someone if you don’t even love yourself.

We must learn to not lean on our own understanding, but to allow God to guide and give us instructions.

This book will also teach you the power of prayer! Sit back and enjoy, because before you finish reading this book you will be on the edge of your seat!

To my Lord and savior, who loves me in spite of my ways. God has always showed so much love and favor in my life, and for that I’m grateful! Without him this would not be possible. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I’m not ashamed to praise and knowledge him always and forever!

To my loving soul mate, Wayne D. Little. He always supports me, and he loves me with unmeasured love. I thank God for joining us together. We truly are equally yoked up. I have so much love and respect for my husband. He’s a great person with a big heart. God never makes a mistake!

And back to my family, friends, and my church family. Also a special thanks to my midwife, Mrs. Rosie Little (ninety-six years old, deceased 2016). I was the first baby she delivered by herself, and then she went on to deliver over seventy babies. To God be the glory! She made
