PREFACE
There was a time when, having been steeped in the Christian tradition I thought that for the world to be a better place the peoples of the world needed to become Christian. At that point when people had the same or similar beliefs there would be a basis for understanding. I have long since come to believe that such a course is an impossibility. This book is written out of the conviction that a person’s beliefs have a direct bearing on their attitudes and actions and that beliefs can be modified so that they result in effective, positive outcomes.
There is no attempt to make this an academic exercise. It is a coming together of thoughts which have been developing for many years. The book is designed to be a guide to positively effective living with an avoidance of gobbledegook of any description.
The book is aimed towards people of goodwill whether they are Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, Humanists, Atheists, Agnostics or those who espouse no particular belief.

If one believes
