Chapter 1: A Fatherless Family
Once upon a Time,
In the small village of Jackal, within the Great Kingdom of Reino, within an alliance of Kingdoms, known as the Four Wings of Brazil, or the Four Crests of Brazil, or the Brazilian Crest, an 11 year old boy named Rego Jones, his mother Willow were living in terrible poverty. In addition to that, Rego’s long lost brother also went through a terrible life. Their lives were a nightmare, but then something happened and their family was reunited and saved.
Our story begins on the night of Friday, July 13 many moons ago.
Willow, a 21 year old, tall slender woman with brown hair and purple eyes was pregnant with two twins, Rego and James. A few weeks later, they are brought to their new home. Robin looks down on his two sons, and is deeply proud of them. He gives them two gifts. He gives Rego and James both falcon’s feathers, which they approve of well. However at that night, the unthinkable happened. When Robin and Willow were asleep, a mysterious figure came into the house. He looked at the two babies, and lifts the oldest one up. However, before any damage can be done Rego. wakes up at the last second, and sees the man raise his dagger and bites his hand. The man in pain and anger throws the baby onto the ground making him pass out. The baby tumbles onto the ground and knocks over a picture, which shatters, breaking the silence. However, Robin and Willow hear this and come to their sons’ rescue. The man, thinking Rego., is dead, has no choice, but to get James. However, when the man grabs James, he sees Robin coming into the room and jumps out of the window. The man looks at James and realizes that he’s the youngest, and smiles. The man puts the house on fire using his knuckle duster. Robin, Willow, and their son are trapped in the fiery house, but Robin finds a way to escape. Robin sees the shady man run off into the moonlight and runs after him. However, he looks back and sees the fire from his house spread around and catch up to him. Robin, and the kidnapper run throughout the outskirts of the kingdom until they reach a cliff above a river. The Kidnapper and Robin, fight and battle, but then Robin slips over the cliff, carrying the baby. Give me the baby!
, said the Kidnapper in the Cloak. Never!
, said Robin. Give me the baby. He’s about to fall. I’ll help you!
, said the Kidnapper. Robin sees his baby slipping out of his hands. With no choice, he forks over James to the man. Help me!
, said Robin. The cloaked man reveals himself to Robin, a millisecond before throwing him into the river below to his apparent death. The cloaked man looks down to his enemy’s doom, but hears the King’s guards coming to him. He creates a fire and surround himself with it. Soon, when the guards come closer to him, he calls some gypsies to attack. The gypsies attack the guards and and one of the grabs the baby and disappears within the smoke bombs along with the Kidnapper and the other gypsies.
Meanwhile, at Reino, rain falls, and wipes out the city, right as the flames consume the land. Willow and Rego. survive the fire, along with many other citizens. However, some people die in the flames. King Rei, a man with brown hair, and blue eyes, and Queen Regina, a woman with blonde hair and green eyes, come to the citizens of Reino. Don’t worry everyone. I will take care of this. My men will find the man who did this.
, said the King. Willow and her son come to the ridge where they saw Robin and the Kidnapper. Willow climbs down and sees Robin’s cloak covered slightly with blood, and scratch marks. Willow brings the cloak to the King. My husband and son were murdered.
, tearfully said Willow. I saw the man go to the graveyard.
King Rei says, Don’t worry. I’ll send out my guards to find the man, and bring back the baby.
The King sends the guards out to find the Kidnapper, but then they are then encountered, by gypsies, who set the graveyard on fire, chasing them off. The Captain of the Guards named Zephyr sees a baby, passed out, on a pedestal in the graveyard, slightly burnt. The guards report the death of the baby to Rei. It’s no use. The baby’s dead. Robin died a hero. We must never forget the Great Sword Prince, and his beloved son. And the brave deed, that was done this day. Rego, I know how it is to lose a family member. It is a deep, personal loss. But we will find the man who did this and bring him to justice!
Willow is devastated. However thing take a turn for the worst for the Jones Family. Their house get burnt down, and all their belongings are destroyed. Willow is unable to fix their house due to the damages, along with the gypsies from the graveyard, robbing her home multiple times. Rego’s life was truly a hell.
Many years later, Rego. grows up into a lean, angular young boy, with red hair, and green eyes and a birthmark on his right cheek. He is not a very good fighter, since he is skinny and underfed, but he would still use different ways to fight, and he would still have some large portions of food. His mother would be a little overprotective of him, but he would still have fun. Rego is an outcast not only because he is the future Great Fighter, the member of the Jones family who grows up and serves for the King as the defender of the Kingdom, and due to him being weak and skinny, people think that he will be a poor excuse of a Sword Prince, but also because of his ill temper. Whenever someone mocks his future position as Great Fighter, or betray him in any way, he goes ballistic, and goes mad, to the point where he would even assault someone, making many people stay away from him. Rego would live this life until one fateful day.
On the last day of Rego’s school, Rego’s class is celebrating the end of the school year with Willow and other parents attending. He gets the All A award at the ceremony, but after the ceremony, he sees most of the kids happy with their fathers. When Rego
