Middle Eastern Dialogues: Tribulations of a Would-Be King

About this ebook
Mentioning places, he freezes a landscape, depicting his natural surrounding conditions, sand mingled rocks and storms forming 'Suyoul' , tumult-wreaking floods.
Ostriches and lions have fair share in his eloquent description.
His poems, comparable to other contemporaries and subsequent Shuara, mirror life in sixth century Arabian Peninsula. It is a preservation, a hint on the moeurs and customs of the poets era the preislamic times.
Against a backdrop of camels, steeds, palm trees and colocynth, Imrulqais gives us his immortal verses, perpetual, spirited, masterly, ably provoking our imagination. Outstanding, Eternally sublime like the lustre of precious gems.

Finally following her intuition and ultimately producing the present result to many years of research, K. S. Khoury pursued a passion for writing after graduating and working in engineering. K. S. Khoury was born in the Middle East, educated in the U.S., and, having grown up in the desert, learned the poetry associated, recited and chanted since ancient times. Some of these verses found their way to one of the most prominent venues in pre Islamic Arabia where these meters of most noteworthy poets were displayed. One of these poets is the main character of this book: Imruul Qais.

Introduction
Late in the year of 2010, when I was well involved in researching history and studying what had happened in the Ancient World, - be it in Rome or Greece, or other important Kingdoms and Empires - Egyptian, Asian Indian and Chinese, - I was still delving into the stories that were happening all around the world, in Antiquity as well as during the Middle Ages.
My fascination had begun in 1992, and love of research would lead me to read about the origins of the region of Scotland, the legends surrounding it, and the history around its famous king James I, who eventually became heir to the throne of Elizabeth I queen of England.
My research didn’t start on Scotland out of the blue. I was actually working on another project, writing a book. One of the characters had returned to their original point of their grandparent’s departure before immigrating to the United States, and I got to know about Edinburgh, Inverness, the Highlands, the Holy Rood, and many more interesting places and related events.
My writing a book started a whole avalanche of information brought upon by reading, as I frequently went to the local library and found various books on the subjects I was interested in for my novel. I wrote and wrote the basic ideas I needed to note down.. ‘pencil headings’, as they say in Arabic, some in detail, and I delved more into the natural course of the path, branching into the study of other countries as novel needs may dictate.
The more advanced readings were actually brought upon by sporadic looking up of simple facts and my going back to my old history books, that I still have on my shelf, which talked about the ancient peoples, emerging civilizations - and eventually the French revolution. I kept checking for information in my books and working on my novel until 1997, til internet became available, and awesome sites cropped up like the ones operated through angelfire and MapCities. The most useful and informative one that I liked was Crystalinks, where the author would explain the spiritual world in terms of history, meditation, I was really in awe of what she knew.
She was actually some kind of psychic.
While I continued with my housework, and busied myself with my chores, and as our family immigrated to the US, the country where I had gone to University, also lived for a while, I continued going to interesting sites which wove an intricate and accurate narrative of how it was thousands of years ago, to forums where these subjects were discussed. One of them was about.com. Then, Wikipedia came into the light.. It was 2001. I continued my research and
