INTRODUCTION

It is indeed a pleasure to bring the knowledge back home, right into the living room, dining room and king-dome of the mind, spirit, and soul. The objective of this missive is to elevate and awaken mindsets to the level of a Hipnologist. In other words, conversing and rehearsing lessons in the School of Life until there is a thorough understanding of the Book of Life. It is no secret that many nations and generations desire to be accredited with H.I.P. That is, not just looking or sounding hip but to actually represent the acronym of H.I.P. (Higher Intellectual Perception, Heighten Intellectual Powers, or even Heavenly Insights and Possibilities). No doubt, the Hipnologist is well-educated at the Roundtable of Knowledge. The Universe is a university of learning and exploration where s/he is schooled by the Best of Teachers. Therefore, just as we learn much of life’s lesson from the Knower of All Things, a lot of the teachings in Hipnology 101 will be based on a one on one approach. In this way, instead of speaking (or writing) at a distance from the audience, the author wishes to serve the word—to break bread with the living and the living-dead as if this is the Last Supper.

The one on one approach deals with particular characters/personalities who may need a Dosage of Hope or who may only be seeking answers to some of Life’s most complex and perplex problems and questions. In whatever method the dialogue is delivered, the sole objective is to ascend and transcend to the highest level of mental/ spiritual elevation. For this reason, the science of Hipnology is a mixture of straight talk, psychology, sociology, philosophy, neuroscience (mind-science), neurochemistry (which deals with the pharmacy of mind/brain), psychotherapy, street science and a sip of rhythms of wisdom from the Poet’s Moet. The method of delivery within the majority of the chapters will often begin with the intended message, followed by a brief conversational piece of Hipnology One- on- One; a session and lesson on spirituality; a Dosage of Hope (or rather a therapeutic and enlighten thought prescription); and finally a sample of rhythmic wisdom.

And even when Death’s Angel watches the casket drop, the teachings (lessons) of Hipnology will remain vital until Time stops ticking (and even thereafter). Why? Because Truth is Eternal, whereby, knowledge is a special sustenance that the soul is capable of digesting and possessing for eternity. Thus it is written that the ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood of the martyr. The martyr may die for the Cause of Truth, however, the scholar/scribe documents those truths within the archive of Life’s School. Once the sacred oil of the ink has dried, knowledge has the power to spark a revival within minds, spirits, and souls in generations to come.

Although this missive may appear small in stature, it is heavily packed and laced with factual information. And even though these thoughts may sound too profound at times they are actually light. These lights of insight are light enough to thoroughly enlighten and uplift those minds that have been heavily burden by the darkness of ignorance. The weight of the word weighs heavy on the Scale of Truth; therefore, contemplate diligently on each line and paragraph. Every line is considered as a life-line to prevent the heart and soul from flat lining on the deathbed of deception.

It is no secret that African American communities are suffering from mental and spiritual states of emergencies. The current situations and conditions are so pitiful that it is going to take some critical thinking to revitalize the mindsets of humankind. Therefore, the main task at hand is to think of and administer lifesaving formulas, anecdotes, and Dosages of Hope (because by aiding in the task of saving my people, I am logically saving myself). Reality reflects that we are on the brink of extinction due to the lack of engagement in the Art and Science of creative and innovative thinking. Thus it is expedient that we spark an intellectual revival within our spirits and souls in order to ensure the survival of this distinguish Race of people. Currently, this ancient Race is lagging behind in last place, whereby, countless individuals have stopped striving and have given up hope all together.

Call it Signs of the Time, however, I have never observe such despair in all my days. Hence, my visionary and missionary task is to deliver Dosages of Hope until I have inoculated a life-saving formula into hearts/souls. Hopefully, these dosages will resurrect countless intellects from the graveyards of self and save many from the torments of the graves to come. In the meantime and between time prepare yourselves for a 360 oddessy throughout the galaxy of mind, spirit, heart, and soul.

CHAPTER 1

Awakening the Genius from the Deep Sleep

Every vice that we possess forms a link in the chain that shackles the human soul.

Oftentimes throughout our childhood stages of development we have heard of once upon a time as the popular phrase which was used at the beginning of many bedtime stories. However, little was it known that imbibing these fables, fairy tales, and other dark tales were but initiatory steps for the preparation of a deeper sleep. Unfortunately, there are countless people who have been sleepwalking, mentally paralyzed, emotionally disturbed and spiritually unconscious ever since the mind’s eye began blinking too frequently. When this transpired, the eye of the mind lost much of its focus and ingenuous thinking capabilities. Some critics have said that during the periodic phases of constantly blinking, the mind’s eye became so distracted that it was unconsciously hoodwinked in the process. Others have mentioned that when the light of inner vision was dimmed by the shadows of darkness, the decision-making faculty of the brain was compromised in the process. Whatever the truth may be, reality is that Life is a school and the world is its classroom, whereby, the main rule is to exercise the power of thought so that the mind’s eye may always stay wide open. But somewhere down the storyline of Life’s Book mankind began paying too much attention to the twisted side of the Script. This is how the mind game ended up twisted, whereby, those storylines reacted like hook, line, and sinker—sinking humanity into a world of darkness, chaos, and despair! The thinking game of Life had transformed into a critical situation because the master of deception had cleverly pulled the wool over the eyes of humankind. In other words, when we began to take our eyes off of the priceless treasure of divine light, many minds became attracted to the artificial lights of the world. These things did not possess the power to keep the mind focus on the prize nor could they open up doors to free one’s genius. Therefore, as man had begun to lose the power of insight, foresight and hindsight, the eyelids of the mind became heavier and heavier. To this effect, souls became drowsy, spirits suffered from sluggishness, and minds had stopped thinking as countless people fell deeply asleep.

It is no secret that the main character in this Script was/is the Thinking Man (Homo Sapien). Unfortunately, someone or something had cast a powerful spell upon the intelligence of this ingenuous thinker. Therefore, the mind began to wander and wander until everyone started to wonder what was happening. What had happened is that the whole of humanity was subjected to a do or die situation, whereby, the only way to rebound from this predicament is to do what the thinker and believer in self was specifically design to do. That is, express the ultimate reverence to its Master-Designer by utilizing and sharing the gifts of intelligence. Or else die thousands of times in a lifetime by existing under the spell of darkness and only as a shell of a man. In such a shellish and hellacious state of being, mankind is not actually living but merely experiencing episodes of living-death. Hence, undergoing these cases of living-death, day after day, is to die thousands of times within one’s lifetime. Whether we flip through the pages within the Book of Life or analyze the scenarios (clips) of daily life, the reality is that we have set the stage for the present-day vampires and zombies of society. The scenario is so profound that one can metaphorically visualize buzzards flying above the heads of the living- dead.

There are numerous reasons why a great number of people are still mentally/spiritually asleep; however, the main reason is because there seem to be much comfort in the dark. Within this darkness, veils of illusions have been threaded and spread by the masters of deception to enwrap minds like mummies. Furthermore, within this miasma of darkness countless individuals have become victims to the psychic forces of negativity. To this effect, such minds are making reservations in their souls’ cemetery because they have mixed the currents of light and darkness with the result of experiencing mental black-outs. So many minds have been consumed by the darkness of psychological delusion that it has been classified as the Belly of the Whale. In retrospect, there was once a cartoon show about a whale that swallowed one of the animated characters. The character sat inside of the whale’s belly in total darkness until he lit a match and began to visualize all kinds of junk (including the ribs of the whale). In actuality, the ribs are symbols of the physical, mental, and spiritual confinement of humanity worldwide. In addition, just as the sea may cause sickness, the world has fallen terribly ill due to drifting too far into the sea of darkness.

Human life originated in the womb, whereby, this world is but a humongous womb which cradles all living things. Nevertheless, within a belly there are always babies being born, therefore, inside the Belly of the Whale (environments of darkness) infants and children are being raised up every day. But at the same time they are being brought down into the underworld to live their lives in the cemetery among the living-dead of their forbearers. When the whale’s belly is introspected it reveals the scenes of bloodbaths, gangsters, winos, dope fiends, demonic presidents, skeletons, the walking dead, witches, warlocks, harlots, man-made diseases, deathbeds, and so on. From such a horrific scenario one would foreswear that it is currently raining hell and that mankind is sleepwalking through the nightmare of Life.

It is no secret that the embalming and mummification of the mind is caused by lethally injecting it with toxins of negative, deceptive thoughts, and non-truths. From this self-made burial the heart is laid to rest in its own casket as the soul drifts into the quiet coma of a deep sleep. Sleep is the Siamese twin of Death and oftentimes these funerals (deaths within the intellect) are unconsciously experience. In other words, scores of the masses have drifted into the graveyard shift of the deep sleep but are unaware of the transition. The process may occur within academic schools where some students are given sleeping pills in History class. This is how his story made history while my story became a mystery. For example, in grade school we were taught that there are 365 days within a year; however, they did not mention that the Africans/Egyptians were the first ones to divide the calendar into three hundred sixty-five and one-fourth days. That is, 365.2422 or 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 45 seconds (which was introduced in 4236 B.C.E). ¹ These are basic facts that will turn on the lantern within the lighthouse of the mind and make one more inquisitive and ambitious in the search for Truth.

It is true that the mind tends to fall asleep when it is applied to intelligible things such as reading, meditation, contemplation, etc. This stems from the fact that things which are perceived through the faculties of the external senses stimulates the mind with more intensity than the than concepts which are presented to the mind through the act of rationalizing.³ Contemplation nor reading will not necessarily induce sleep, however, if the wrong type of knowledge is frequently injected into one’s mind, then such dark tales will serve as veils to blindfold and cuddle the mind until the soul becomes comatose in the phase of the Deep Sleep. To this effect, the personal genius is placed under a hypnotic spell as the mind slips into a state of psychosis (becoming estranged from one’s true self and reality as a whole).

So what time is it? The Timekeeper cautions humanity that the hand of Life’s clock is on eleven; hence, the Signs of Time reveal that this is the final hour of the Human Drama. The rooster has been crowing far too long: it is simply time to wake up and make the endeavor to resurrect the intellect from perpetrated acts of mentacide and spiritual genocide. Initially, the mind’s drowsiness and consequently its death were caused by slipping into the darkness of psychological delusions. Therefore, the power of the mind can only be revitalized by the light of knowledge (which has the strength to penetrate through any self-made coffin and de-mummify any soul). In life there are the living and those who are classified as the living-dead. Those who are mentally and spiritually alive should not mourn for those minds that have been deaden because there is still hope. So cancel the wakes and eulogies, unload the hearses—the obituaries need not be printed. The autopsy reports have revealed that the infections from deception are the causations of mind cancers, thus causing souls to collapse on their deathbeds. The ones who are mentally alive should take up the responsibility to perform soul-to-soul resuscitations on those minds that have been spiritually comatose. Hopefully, the endeavor will re-spark the brilliancy and ingenuity of the divine spark within spirit and soul. This will invigorate the mind with Dosages of Hope.

The light of reasoning serves as a reviver, inspector, and coroner of the mind. Its rays are similar to the rays of sun in that they both aid in sustaining and maintaining life. It is no secret that the morning star prompts the body to awaken; that is, when light strikes the retina of the eye and triggers the master gland of the human brain to secrete the chemical messenger serotonin. Like a messenger, serotonin tells the body that it is time to awaken. The sun appears to arise from the darkness of the East and continues to rise until reaching the point of zenith. Similarly, the light of reason rises from beyond the dark clouds of consciousness to shed light upon the mind’s eye. To this effect, through the penetration and magnification of its rays one can be consciously elevated to the highest point (zenith) in life.

To awaken out of the hypnotic phase of the deep sleep is to be raised from the dead and this certainly is a miraculous transition indeed! The Sanskrit definition of manas means mind, thus to raise a dead man is to actually raise a dead mind. Nevertheless, there are too many people who have been practically raising their children but have neglected the responsibility of enhancing the powers of their minds, spirits, and souls. It would be an unwise decision to depend solely on the educational systems to raise and awaken Black youths of today. Such a dependency would be as if the parents had consented to their children’s wakes/funerals by sending them on mentacidal missions. In other words, some of them are willfully signing their off-springs death certificates because they had blindly, on prior occasions, autographed their own. The saying, Paradise lies at the feet of the mother, means that mental and spiritual teachings from the mother can actually raise the child to exalted states of conscious freedom. Thus the true meaning of raising a child is to illuminate and elevate the consciousness of such a youth by cultivating and penetrating the mind with the piercing light of knowing. Moreover, just as the mother will periodically wake up the infant for breast-feeding, the milk of knowledge should be perpetually consumed throughout one’s lifetime so that the soul will remain well-nourished and animated within the wakefulness of Time. It was aforementioned that the causation of the Deep Sleep was due to the mind being overshadowed by darkness; therefore, on the contrary, the soul can only be awakened by the translucent light of reason. The whales’ belly is a humongous tomb, but the incubator of reality is more like a fertile womb where the child receives the proper growth and development under sufficient rays of enlightenment. Wisdom and understanding are like the mother’s breast-milk which nurtures and fortifies the soul-child within the womb of this universe. Furthermore, these qualities are like immunizers that protect the mind from social ills and environmental diseases.

Physically, the consumption of the mother’s breast-milk protect infants from diseases such as allergies, asthma, liver disease, juvenile diabetes, childhood leukemia, respiratory infections, meningitis, and so on. Likewise, from a metaphysical perspective, the milk of wisdom serves as a formula which protects one from becoming susceptible to the societal diseases of mind pollution, ignominy, mental bondage, and many other things that entrap, cripple, and hospitalize the soul on the dreadful bed which is guarded by none other than Death’s Angel. In addition, wisdom and understanding are like the parents that raises humanity; therefore, naturally the mind is attracted to this type of breast-milk because such qualities are inborn and only need to be awaken by unlocking the door of higher consciousness. Thus as a child, one will naturally suckle from the breast of knowledge because the mind is curious and inquisitive by nature.

Biologically, all mammals are naturally attracted to breast-milk of their mothers from the time of conception. For example, when the mother rodent gives birth to her young, the baby rodent crawls blindly but directly to the breast of the mother and begins suckling at her teats. Scientific experiments have shown that if the olfactory mucosa of the baby rodent is destroyed at birth by an intranasal injection or if the teats of the mother are washed (whereas the amniotic fluid is removed), then the mother will usually eat her offspring before it dies, unless she licks the amniotic fluid off of her young and then licks her own teats so that the baby will resume normal suckling. This is to say that even as infants, many people have been distracted from the natural breast-milk of mothers/wet-nurses and prescribed such artificial formulas as Similac, Isomil, etc. On this note, we have been desensitized from the pure and wholesome breast-milk of knowledge and thereby inadequately nursed on artificial formulas of deception. Such formulas have caused the mindset of mankind to operate on levels of artificial intelligence (which have debilitated the backbones or brain powers of the human race). The reality is that when one loses the scent of the mother’s teat (in this sense), such an individual will undergo a death within the intellect. Therefore, just as the dying baby rodent is sometimes devoured by its mother, likewise, one’s mind/soul may be eventually overwhelmed and consumed by the darkness of psychological delusions (where the mind suffers from dark spells of being misled to the edge of cliffs).

It is comprehensible how we were distracted from the natural act of being breast-fed by wet-nurses/mothers and placed on artificial (bottle) milk. As a result, when the bottles were emptied we were given pacifiers and sung lullabies for the inducement of sleep. In actuality, the baby is but a symbol of the soul-child whose genius awaits to attain the age of full strength (RX). The emptying of the bottles symbolize how we have digested the artificial types of knowledge and became content with its formulas of deception. The pacifier represent the fact that somebody wants to keep the masses very passive and from knowing and disseminating truths. Nonetheless, the lullaby is what the theme of the Deep Sleep is all about.

From the primary stages of childhood there are some minds/souls that have been properly raised throughout life. Then there are those minds that need to be awaken and resurrected because they have been in states of hibernation their entire livelihoods. The words raise and rays are homonyms, thus to be properly raise as a child, the mind would need to be sufficiently suffused under the rays of truths, beam of knowledge, and light of wisdom. It is the rays of enlightenment that raise, vitalizes, and enables an individual to reach the stage of full strength (mentally, morally, emotionally and spiritually). Just as ultra-violet rays are conducive to the growth of all forms of life, so is it with the rays of enlightenment which awakens the mind and permits the spirit and soul to perpetually mature within the light of life. This is to say that one’s conscious rise or demise depends strictly upon how a person is raise (rays). Light symbolize life while darkness is a symbol of death; however, those minds who have been overshadowed by darkness should know that there is life on the other side. The sacred blood of humanity is flowing knee-deep and even waist-high throughout every part of the world. This is due to the fact that the rays of divine light, couple with the light of knowledge has been eclipsed by clouds of darkness. It is no secret that strange things happen when the world turns dark or rather slips into the Dark Age of Ignorance. Darkness disrupts the natural order, balance, and arrangement of human life as it was originally design to be. It causes mankind to become derange in their minds, spirits, and souls. To grasp a better understanding of the word darkness, it can be broken down as dark nets because the dark is like a black net that has been willingly or unwillingly cast over so many minds. It is responsible for the psychological entrapment of countless people who have comfortably wrapped up themselves within the folds of darkness. To this effect, they have fallen so deeply asleep that the sleeping giant (genius) within will always remain hypnotize and comatose if they continue to choose to sleepwalk throughout life. Remember: when caught up in the Deep Sleep life is but a dream! Resurrection of the intellect will only occur once the illumination and penetration of the light of knowledge breaks through the inner darkness. This is the beauty of the dawn wherein the mind, heart, spirit, and soul become colorfully illuminated to experience the miracle of living.

There are many people throughout the world who have epitaphs of the living-dead engraved upon their hearts, souls, and personalities. They can be identified by unpleasant stains that the darkness has left upon their minds/brains. The stains have produced scars and marks (engravings) upon the hearts of humankind. This is confirmed by writings within the Original Script: Those who abandon the Way shall be known by their marks or they shall wear the mark of the Beast. Nevertheless, the staining of hearts has produced infections within personalities, whereby, infections have turned into diseases. From such diseases, the world has become so sicken that much of humanity have drifted into the unconscious coma of a Deep Sleep. As noted earlier, there are various things (situations) that can seduce or induce the mind to fall asleep. We have been listening to the fairy tales, fiction of traditions, and other dried up lies for a little too long. To this effect, we have been sleepwalking throughout life while graves are steadily being dug by the dead (the deceivers) in preparation for those youths who are destine to live. Therefore, those who are living must not become oblivious of the living-dead amongst us; that is, the ones who are dwelling in somnambulistic and zombified mind states of existence.
