Introduction and Forward
I feel like my life over the past four years has been a series of quantum leaps. Each one unique, each one carrying me further still on my long nomadic journey. That journey included seven different stays at the Orange County Florida jail. It is through these experiences I learned that God can do so much in us when we are broken. It smarts to be corrected. Growth is messy and painful, but the Lord loves us so much. Sometimes we need a good spanking. He wants so much for us to reflect his character, that he will whittle the muck and sludge right out of us if we LET him. He wants to show us things we cannot see in our comfort zones. You will go through fire, but you will burn with care while the flesh is dying. The duration and severity of your flesh dying will depend heavily on how prideful, stubborn and hard-hearted you are. Sometimes, God will take us to the worst place, so he can lift us up to the best place. It took several grand swoops of whittling due to my over ruling strong will and rebelliousness. I lost my home, my children, my possessions and served 142 days of jail time on a Violation of Injunction/misdemeanor to fully grasp the following … .
Our life is not about us. It is about others and we must love them knowing they can be lost. Our life was not designed to have, get and acquire. We were created to love and worship our Creator. We were created to advance His kingdom. We do that by loving ANYONE in front of us. Join me in this journey.
