About this ebook
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness (2 Thessalonians 2:912 NIV).

DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to all the Nigerians who have lost their lives to the terrorist groups such as Boko Haram, Niger Delta militants, Fulani and Hausa herdsmen, corrupt political failures and poor demeaning leadership since gaining independence in 1960. And to all the victims of kidnappers, armed robbers ritual killings, and above all to the workers in Nigeria and our old pensioners who have been deprived of their wages and pension money for years by a failed system of government. May God help us all, amen.
CHAPTER 1
Cry My Beloved Country.
When Nigeria gained her independence in 1960, there was great hopes and aspiration for the people. Everyone was happy. Little did we know we were not prepared for independence and good governance. Yet, there was a sense of patriotism and nationhood with abundance of mineral and natural resources. Human resources lay abound as Nigeria grew to become the giant of Africa with time. And later became the cockroach of Africa with massive corruption and poor leadership where everyone for himself, God help us all. There was one big problem of tribalism and ethnicity which tend to tear Nigeria apart.
This ugly problem led to the Nigerian civil war with the Biafra which consumed the lives of most Nigerians. General Yakubu Gowon deemed it fit to keep Nigerian nationhood as one entity with unity in diversity. To keep Nigeria one was a task that must be done. Successive military administrations came into play and played with the lives and destiny of the Nigerian people.
Nigerians became puppets and despots with everyone afraid to fight for fundamental human rights and justice. Corruption became the order of the day and destroyed the very moral foundation upon which an ideal society can function with an ideal government and system of government. As years went by, Nigerians went from one fire into frying pans.
Democracy finally took root and went from democracy to demoncrazy. The entire system was compromised by corruption and greed. The coffers of our national treasury was looted from one administration to the other by the politicians. Every aspect of the private and public sector was affected by corruption and human greed. Nearly every Nigerian was not different from their leaders by encouraging the evils in society.
And today things have fallen apart, and the centre can no-longer hold Nigerians together as a people. If you cannot beat them, or challenge them in their evil ways and means, you must join them in their evil ways and corrupt practices. The multinational corporations and oil firms seeing what type of people Nigerians are joined them in the corrupt practices and helped to loot Nigerian crude oil and the national resources. They joined in vandalising and castrating everything good in Nigeria until we are now down on our knees begging for food and dying of hunger and starvation. We can no-longer feed ourselves. Workers are not paid their salaries for years and months. Worse still, pensioners are not paid for years.
What can the people do? Students and teachers got involved in exam malpractices. University students and most desperados became occultist and have to use any evil means to enrich themselves and pass their exams. The evil ones became the
