Dedication
This book, my first novel, is dedicated to my mother Bernice Franklin. I could not have done this without Mother’s help. From the time she walked me into church as a little girl, in my patent leather Mary Jane shoes and fluffy dresses. To listening to me tell her of my dream to get published at seventy-one, she’s been there for me. Thank you, Mom.
I would also like to thank my brother Ray Franklin for sending me the tools I needed to do the job of writing. My sister Ronda Brennan for her support and encouragement, most of all my daughter-in-law Nichole Witt who did the tedious job of editing. She helped me stay sane when compiling seventeen years’ worth of notes and writings. My photographer, Crystal Franklin, for the talent she has for capturing your soul in her photographs.
Thank you, family,
EA Franklin, the Messenger

Banishment
Alone on the mezzanine, Dashtar awaits his judgement and struggles to keep his trembling from giving away his fear; feeling timid about his fate.
Calming himself by studying the anti-chamber he is waiting in, he looks at the larger than life tapestries covering the walls. One catches his eye; above him are woven pictorials of the holy Aseen wearing their seamless garments. A radiant look of divine presence emanating love and grace, the very presence he fears the loss of today.
He remembers when he was brought here to learn about himself from the books of life stored within these guarded chambers. It was millenniums ago when he accepted the council’s invitation to take a journey of soul remembrance, a journey so vivid it changed him forever. He learned of his soul’s mission and viewed lifetime after lifetime All his effort to ascend; traveling the circle of life and death, striving to become more than man with each evolution.
Now, standing on the white marble floor, with an inlaid design of jade and gold, Dashtar feels small and inconsequential for the first time in a millennium. For a moment he lets his hood slide free from his head. His coal black hair fell to his shoulders, framing his pale skin and violet eyes.
Suddenly breaking into his thoughts is an image of one of the Adepts, Enter Now
, was the message. The image preceded him to the halls huge doors, where he waits for the Master to trigger the sensor with his hand, opening the immense corridor to the Great Hall. He walks from courtyard to courtyard never taking his eyes off the shining marble floors, as though his head is too heavy to lift.
Consciously aware of not being able to move freely due to being restricted by body mass; not like before when he could just travel by light body and think himself there. He had to walk his body down the long path of humiliation, glued to his physical form, weary, feeling all its degradation and pain.
Dashtar wears robes of cobalt blue over his seamless silver garment studded with tiny yellow diamonds adorning the sleeves and hem. His sandals make no sound as he cautiously takes each remorseful step. Even in disgrace his stature commands respect as he makes his approach to the others. For days he had been searching the thoughts of those around him, but it brought him no clues as to what the council had decided; only that he would be expelled from their golden cities and all other places of those ON HIGH.
He feels sure that today he will be striped of the honor he had worked so hard to achieve. They will take from him the powers the Ancient Ones bestowed on him and his ability to be one with the most elite group of the Ascended will be denied. Dashtar lowers his head, allowing disappointment and remorse to show briefly on his chiseled face. Rarely does an Ascended Master fall from Grace; the Council does not judge their fellows as a rule. Only when one blatantly disobeys God’s Universal Laws will they be called for judgment.
Dashtar thinks to himself, ‘How could I bring such a heavy burden on myself and the others?’
Realizing he’d reached the final courtyard he stalls before entering the Temple. He takes a deep breath, trying to steady himself, ‘Forgive me,’ he whispers and stiffens his body attempting to appear in control. He enters the gathering room silently scanning to see who has come to judge him this day. He stops in the center of the great room and lifts his head to face the group, once his allies and brethren.
He tries again to calm himself with deep breathing; concerned his pounding heart will give him away. He can see only the original members of the Council of Twenty-One before him. He is silently grateful he is not being judged and condemned by all his former fellows. Come forward Dashtar, we will speak to you in the old way of mankind since your inner connection has been severed. You no longer have internal access to the body-mind of all your former Brethren. We as a body of mankind will miss your presence.
Dashtar, shocked by the sound of the ancient One’s spoken voice, comes forward to place himself face-to-face with his peers. The Old Great One before him is the ancient among the elders; his manner is most kind as well as solemn. Dashtar carefully guards his thoughts. Although his connection has been severed to the collective mind, the others remain capable of reading him.
The Old One speaks, Rarely before in our history has this happened to one of the ASEEN. To sit in judgment of our fellows is not our way. But, your outrageous behavior forces us to take action against you.
The Old Master stops for a moment to reflect on his knowledge of the soul before him. He is flooded with memories of the good works done by Dashtar in the millenniums he has known him. He cannot help but feel affection for him, and grief for having to be the one to exile his friend.
He begins again, Dashtar, for your crimes against our society of Elders you are to be banished. You have influenced earth scientists to research and attempt human cloning. As you well know, after your failure in Atlantis, re-creation is a forbidden science. We, your peers feel burdened by this decision; how can we banish you when you are an integrated part of us?
It has been decided that you will be exiled to earth to live as a mortal again. Once again you are in a body that will age and die. You will experience all the human frailties and vulnerabilities that are a part of humanity in the 21st Century.
"You are being given a mission that offers you the opportunity to redeem yourself; to undo the harm you have created by giving advance science to an irresponsible culture. Your quest is to find a research scientist you feel is moral and trustworthy, and then teach him the truth. Reveal to him the Laws of creation and ascension, that it may lead him to discover the truth about immortality.
"You know the truth which is obscured on Earth by non-believers. Each soul created by God is already immortal. Immortality is given to each soul at creation. What they should be seeking in the 21st Century is the path to Ascension, to end the wheel of birth and death.
To raise their frequencies to reach the 4th & 5th dimensions; rising with the Earth as she goes through her changes. The 4th & 5th dimensions as you know bring the wisdom of the love vibration. Also, the teachings of the principle that all souls were created by God and return to the one great soul of the Creator. Teach them to rise above the lower vibrations of war, pestilence and fear which is the source of so much tragedy and pain. To enter the thousand years of peace Jesus spoke of mankind needs to remember their holy being that lives within.
Earth is ascending from a third dimensional world to a fifth dimensional world and the beings on the planet need to rise with her or be lost. That is the truth you are to teach Dashtar, not how to put a soul in a form not created by God.
These are the rules and conditions of your mission:
• Your identity must be kept secret. Your life with us cannot be shared.
• Your entrance to all the ancient cities and dwellings of the Elders is forbidden. Your physical body will not trigger the sensor to any entrances of the holy.
• Your human life will be complicated by the fact that you will retain your memories, giving you an edge over society. But, you will also face temptations to use your experience as a Master to influence your cause. This will be your conflict to overcome.
• Your memories of working among us will be available to you, as well as all the locations of the holy ones and storage areas of hidden materials and wealth. But, your ability to use this knowledge will remain in our control.
• You may take your personal craft and collections with you. Your judgment on how to make use of your craft will be monitored by the Council.
"Most of all human, you take your free will, knowing fully that it is the free will of man that holds the key to the door of knowledge. You are on the path of Ascension once again, the path available to all that search for it. Now go Dashtar, you have been well informed of your mission.
Enter the departing chamber and leave your seamless garments within; we have provided clothing suitable for you. When you remove the robe, realize the symbolic loss of power that goes with it. Farewell.
With that they disappeared, leaving him alone in the Great Hall, reeling with emotions he hadn’t felt since his Ascension.
He walked into the next chamber and saw a lump of clothing lying on a stand. He was stunned by the Council’s decision and confused by what they meant by the ‘loss of power’. He had always thought he had the power, not the seamless robe.
Surely, they were referring to the leaving of their presence, of not being one of the ASEEN anymore, weren’t they? God forgive me, what have I done?
Dashtar changed quickly and went to his ship. When he boarded he called out to Abigale, his computer, I assume your flight plan has been preprogrammed?
Yes, Master.
Abigale don’t call me master, call me Dashtar. Since you are pre- programed with flight plans get me out of here!
Yes, Dashtar.
Where are we going? I want a more specific answer than just Earth.
Our destination is Earth 21st Century, Castle Craig’s State Park, in Northern California,
said Abigale.
That’s only a few miles from Mt Shasta, a holy site? They are sending me there as punishment? I love Mt Shasta and every tree in her surrounding forest.
Yes, Dashtar look at the plans for landing.
What are all those laser lines for? Our we to cut ourselves a hide out in the face of that huge Craig? Won’t the whole valley light up with the intricate goings on?
No, Dashtar we will be cloaked.
Oh, this looks like quite a ride, they have thought of everything.
CHAPTER 1
Earth First Day
Dashtar awoke from a deep sleep, one like he hadn’t experienced in millenniums. Not like the restless sleep of a Master feeling the call to be of service so strong there is no peace for sleep, always a pull to do more.
He had been so tired from the banishment experience and the journey to Earth he fell immediately to sleep in his pilot’s chair with his feet propped up on the rail of his command center. He’d been looking at the horizon line with its shadow view of the mountain range and starlit sky across from him.
In the morning light this same beautiful scene came into focus. He was watching the magic hour between darkness and daylight; a moment of just being with the blessing of a new day, God’s gift to the world.
For a moment before slumber he did feel peace, the solitude of a man, not a master. A man not burdened with the sanctity of human kind, not yet.
He walked over to look out of the large expanded windows to see a view of the valley floor below. ‘Welcome to Earth Dashtar, Earth man once again.’ Laughing he turns and heads toward his replicator and thinks out loud, ‘I’ll be like other Earth men and have a cup of coffee.’
RP
is his nickname for his replicator which has been programmed with choices of foods Dashtar has come across in his travels that he allows himself to enjoy on occasion. One of these recipes is a Starbucks Caramel Frappe with whip cream and an extra shot of caramel on top. Dashtar had enjoyed one of these on his last visit to earth years ago.
RP Starbucks Mt Shasta 21st Century,
he commanded and in an instant, it was manifested for him. He took his mug and put it to his lips, after a big healthy sip he murmured ‘mmmmm’ at RP for approval.
With his coffee in hand he begins to wander around the craft surveying what was still available to him for use and what may have been taken from him.
From first look he didn’t see any changes in the structure of the ship and its contents. He went to his lab first and saw the computer was still monitoring all his experiments. Even the ones concerning cloning. ‘I’ll have to destroy these tissue samples and my notes as well, I’m not looking forward to that; nor do I want to take hundreds of years’ worth of experimental successes and failures off my computer. I wonder if they already did that?’
He lets his attention fall on his favorite part of the lab, his garden. He loves to grow life in many forms, not just human bodies, but plants native to places he has visited or worked in the galaxy.
He’s comforted by seeing all are doing well, he plucks himself some strawberries and thanks it for its nourishing sweetness. He decides to go downstairs to his private quarters and check on Aphrodite his pet Cockatiel he’s had traveling with him for many years.
He calls down the stairs before him, Alphie girl you still there?
There had been such a dramatic impact on him at the banishing that he just got on board his craft and left the sight of his former brethren as quickly as possible. He never made it to his private space last night.
Squawk, daddy’s home,
it said. Yes, Alphie daddy is home,
he stood next to Alphie’s favorite perch and put his finger out for his friend to climb onto.
Give daddy a kiss Alphie,
he asked, and his friend graciously pecked him on the check and messed his hair by rubbing his feathery soft face in his beloved friend and Master.
I have missed you too. Want a sip of coffee or is it the whip cream you’re after?
Alphie had targeted his concentration on Dashtar’s mug, he moved it to his friend and offered him some whip cream.
Dashtar laughed at the comedy of his friend full of whip cream and enjoying it. See Earth isn’t so bad is it Alphie?
Dashtar decided to look at himself without his seamless garment, his mantel of mastery. He wandered curiously to his area of personal care; he has a full length Victorian mirror, encased in a gold trimmed frame. He’s had it for decades and always admired its beauty and truth.
‘I look the same on the outside,’ he tells himself, ‘but I wonder about what has been taken from my spirit to enhance my human experience?’
He asks himself some very difficult questions and collapses in his hammock chair to ponder the big question, ‘What has changed? I’ve been banished to Earth and stripped of my seamless robe; my symbol of Mastery to be a human again.
‘But, what does that mean exactly? I never stopped being human, an Earth being, I rose to mastery from lifetimes on this plane. My travels to other planets didn’t begin of course until I had reached a level of spiritual maturity and awareness giving me the knowledge and skills to travel out of body collecting wisdom from all realms as they became available to me.’
Continuing his train of thought, ‘On the anniversary of 1,000 years since my acceleration to the light body of a truly formed Master; the Council gave me the gift of my personal craft which has been my home for many years. I don’t really know how to measure time anymore; it isn’t relevant on so many other planets in our galaxy, only on Earth do we measure time.
Now time has meaning again for me…
CHAPTER 2
The Master Emerges
He stood alone on the river bank in the vast wilderness of the six-million-acre forest listening to the rushing water and the power of the falls. He was drawn so completely into the beauty of the scene he didn’t hear the men approaching from behind.
They stood quietly observing him; a silent but striking figure glowing with an aura of eminence not usually seen around a common man. His hair was long and dark, falling on his back and his clothing was loose fitting. They looked at each other and smiled in agreement. They recognized him, Master
, they spoke, and the tall figure turned to them with a peaceful, but surprised look. He had a flowing
