Everyone needs inspiration on a daily basis. This book is my sharing on inspiration I received over a period of years. Some of it is religious inspiration that I received in meditation in a quiet church. It is on a variety of subjects, yet it will fit a variety of subjects for todays world. It is the culmination of years of note scratching on lots of scrap paper and envelopes. It is based on real-life experiences I faced at the time. It is a journal into my soul and philosophy. Whenever you feel you have the need to be inspired, feel free to pick up this book, and let me inspire you to get through the day. I hope you will remember me as the Quote Guy.

Several years ago I started writing poetry. I entered into a contest and won. One day I was in a church and starting to write what I had heard through meditation. Today, I continue to write quotes to inspire people everyday. In todays world you never get enough inspiration. The quote guy is here to fill that void.

The world that lies inside of you makes up what people see outside of you."

Look at life as a candle; at anytime it can be blown out or it can be lived until there is no more wick to burn.

What is to be real is to be pure, and let your heart speak for the mind.

We are people who speak through our hearts.

Destruction can never damage our heart unless we want it to.

We cannot let fear shelter us. We must deprive evil from being consumed by fear.

You are what is instilled in you.

What is instilled in you is who you are.

Actions have a voice that is spoken through your conscience.

Good works make you feel good.

A day has been decided for you. Everything in it that happens, happens for a reason.

Our conscience is our GPS, which allows us to stay on track to our destination.

We create pictures and destinations when we close our eyes to sleep. We journey to see people who are lost; it is done as a message. When we awaken, it is up to us to interpret that message.

We listen to what is spoken and determine if it is real, and we fail to feel the heart, that is the initiator of what is real.

Forgiveness is something most of us cannot do, but it is the release that frees the mind and heart of heaviness.

Take care of those things you can do something about, and let a higher power take care of those things you can’t do something about.

Your hand writes thoughts that your brain commands it to write; it may not be the same message God wants you to write.

Women were born from beauty; their voices speak softly but are heard loudly. They are not always right; no one is. They are like gardeners nurturing the young to grow tall and beautiful, and they were dubbed caretakers of humanity. Kindness and respect are all that is asked, and in return, you are given heartfelt love.

Care must be heartfelt to give and receive.

What is inside of us is the authentic signature of who we are.

We are judged by how we treat others; it is our true identification that defines us and introduces us.

A smile is much more than the showing of pretty teeth.

A birthday is an anniversary of how long you have existed; a heart is a diary of the legacy that is inside of you.

A true person is defined by those he touches, those he loves, and those he encourages.

People who have hurt us never speak the words of apology until their hearts give it to them.

We cannot be judgmental unless we possess a law degree.

A true person will always look you in the eye and not focus on things alongside of you.

We let what we see get in the way of what we feel.

The exceptional beauty of a person is seldom seen but often felt.

A relationship must continue to be weeded, trimmed, and watered for it to continue to be radiant.

The thorns of a rose are examples of all the pain she has to endure to stay beautiful.

The roots of love never grow from a bad seed.

A relationship must be watered constantly with respect to bloom to its full potential.

Your heart draws pictures of a conquest that’s right.

The inner voice of our soul must speak without interruption.

The pen becomes the vocal piece to speak for the true voice of the inner heart.

Healing begins when your heart listens to the words God whispers.

Our path in life ceases when our construction project has failed to continue it.

Our ears ignore the silent voice that speaks from within us.

A voice does not have to be heard to be effective.

The mind is the call center for a caring heart; it distributes the silent messages from the heart.

Jealousy is an evil infection that filters the beauty of a wonderful world.

We must be the fertilizer and caretaker for our wonderful rose to grow and bloom.

The quality of a relationship is often measured by the quantity of love contributed into it.

The heavy hand of truth is the cure to an ailing world.

Women are not complex to understand; men just need to take off their headphones.

The heart of a person sharpens the gaze that the eye should see.

God always extends his hand to lead his rescue of us from difficulty.

We speak from two voices, but the silent one is the most powerful.

The gift of the day must be unwrapped; success may be the surprise inside of it.

We are given two hands—one to give and one to take. Some of us are proof to just use the hand that takes.

When your conscience speaks, listening must be the priority.

We must be ever mindful that life ceases to exist abruptly without advance notice.

Be ever mindful of the fraudulent gifts people have given to you.

Sometimes we must walk instead of run in the marathon of life.

A sword has two edges—a sharp one and a dull one. You can never tell which side you are holding it on.

Get to know what is inside of you before you project it to people outside of you.

A path need not be paved to be walked.

Roads never go in a circle unless they are rotaries God placed there.

Spark moments of passion with brittle matches.

Trust in your heart and you’ll always find a way to do things.

Moving pebbles one at a time creates the solid rocks of life.

A thought is placed and created by the heart.

Our tune in life can never B flat or B sharp.

True passion is driven from the heart; false passion only satisfies an urge.

We cannot hear beautiful music unless the first notes are played.

Our heart is always replenished with love when we feel it is lost.

Write the words that must be written, quote the passages that must be heard, and do the things that must be felt.

All that we encounter is political—except the voice we hear inside us.

Surround yourself with the voices you trust, not the gossip you hear.

We can never take back empty words once they are out there.

A woman’s heart has a world that is indescribably beautiful. She sends a glimpse to her mind what it is truly like. When it is crossed, it can turn into Armageddon.

When we injure others by our words and actions, we essentially cry out for help for ourselves.

You are created with unique qualities that make a contribution to all you are surrounded with. Go out and use them.

You become important to the world the moment you step out of bed.

Take time to say hi to a stranger, for they are connected to you.

You are remembered for your words and how quickly you turn them into action.

Be always respectful of others in your actions you direct towards them.

Respect is often found in the kindness we give to others.

The giver of time often receives a spiritual reward.

The integrity of a person is often displayed by what he or she gives and shares with others.

In this life, we must be sharers, not takers.

Be always sympathetic to those who contribute meagerly, for what they give is pure value from their hearts.

We need not be sick to make a valued contribution.

The love within yourself is the greatest ingredient needed to love another person.

Arms you were given to wrap a hug around one that is needed.

A need is a necessity to someone that is often not a want to you.

Recognize that what you do for someone is significant to the person receiving your act.

Treating someone nice does not require a whole lot of effort.

Kindness is infectious and requires no cure.

Do what you can do for others who someday will reciprocate to you.

Always find time for kindness, for it has no time limit.

Whom we meet becomes an extension of our family.

Every action sets off a reaction; thought must be considered before implementing.

There is a difference between calm and excitable; it is called logic.

A no is always absent when a yes is forever present.

We will always be fed and nourished spiritually with words and hugs from our friends.

All things can be conquered if you chip away at them.

We chip away at marble to create a masterpiece of the ages.

We have been chipped away from stone to become a masterpiece of the ages.

Sometimes what we want doesn’t mean we can’t have it; it just means it’s not time to have it.

The disappointment we suffer is given to us because we can handle it.

We are always led to a special place where we can heal and replenish our heart.

We will reach our potentials when we are satisfied inside of us.

The train can’t run without railroad tracks.

When you invest your heart and soul in faith, the rewards are perpetual.

Our heart makes winters warm and summers comfortable.

Sometimes when we feel like we are being shortchanged, always remember when the time comes, we are all given the correct change.

The life we create stays with us. It grows beautiful with our nurturing. It gives us back what we put into it—love. It becomes a model to be used to create and extend life.

People build walls instead of opening doors to walk into a better life.

You move the world every time you display a smile.

The most precious gift you can give someone is your heart.

Something beautiful always comes out of something less attractive.

Life is a celebration, a tragedy, and a hardship during its course.

Someone needs you today. Make the sacrifice and make an effort to reach out to him or her.

Continuing on a path of a grudge does not make the path smooth; it just adds more holes to it.

Although a smile may take numerous muscles to develop, it has a lasting effect on all that see it.

Our souls are put on a course for eternal life; it is up to us to make sure that course does not get diverted.

Friends keep our lives going. They motivate, comfort, and are there to share moments with. Those that are true are precious; those that are false are fake.

We choose our mates by looking at their face. Imagine what it would be like if we chose them by looking at their hearts.

Be in touch with the one thing that not only sees but also feels things that matter to you—your heart.

We often define goodness by what we see someone do. Yet do we truly know what resides in his or her heart?

Be not hasty with a decision, but let the heart show true character in its decision it informs you.

A hasty action can cause a reaction as shocking as a loud outburst.

We question what is heard to us that is spoken, but we must not question what is spoken inwardly in silence.

Character is not a valued human trait unless it comes with a compassionate heart.

Become what is contained within your heart—whether it be good, bad, or indifferent.

A poor man is never poor; he is always rich by what he gives the world through his heart.
