During a battle between his father’s Fireoid army and the ruler of the Freezeiod’s, King Freeze, Inferno gets sucked into a portal created by King Freeze.
The portal sends him to the planet Earth and exposure to the planet’s atmosphere and physiology changes him into a fourteen year old human. Then he gets adopted by extremely weird foster parents and has to endure one of the worst possible forms of torture ever conceived by mankind.
HIGH SCHOOL!
And to make matters even worse, King Freeze has sent his eldest son, Prince Frost, to earth so that he can finish Inferno off in his weakened human form. Will Inferno be able to turn himself back to normal, survive the onslaught of Prince Frost and get back to his home planet?

FREEZE-FLAME
T HE ALAVA CLOCK RANG. INFERNO Scorcher jolted in shock. He groaned and wished the clock was quieter for once. Scratching his head, he pulled himself out of his fire bed and walked over to the molten rock sink placed next to his bed. Running the tap, he splashed his face with boiling lava and looked at his reflection in a large mirror above the sink. He looked like an average, if not handsome, everyday fourteen-year-old Fireiod.
Fireiod’s were beings of living flame. This species lived on the planet Freeze-flame, a planet that was made half from fire, molten lava and volcanoes. And on the other half of the planet which was made from ice, liquid nitrogen and giant ice stalagmites that stuck out from the ground like giant teeth, lived the Freezeiod’s, beings of living ice. Each half of the planet was a kingdom. Both kingdoms had a king, princes and queens. But it was not a peaceful planet. There were constant wars between these opposite species. For reasons unknown, King Volcanus, who was king of the fire kingdom and King Freeze, who was the king of the ice kingdom, never got on well with each other as young princes. They were always arguing over who would be the strongest or smartest king when they grew up. But King Freeze was the worst of the two. When they were both crowned king of their kingdoms, King Freeze declared war on the fire kingdom, vowing that he would not rest until he had reduced it to rubble and every last Fireiod was wiped from existence. Since then, there had been war after war. But that was fourteen years ago. The wars had still not stopped. War was all Inferno had ever known, although his father, King Volcanus, had managed to thwart King Freeze’s constant plans. Every Fireiod in the kingdom saw him as a legendary king. At the age of fourteen, Inferno already felt like he was under heavy pressure to live up to his father’s vast reputation. Soon, he would really be put into the spotlight. After thirteen long years, he would finally be crowned demi-king of the fire kingdom and would have to live up to his father’s level of greatness.
Inferno sighed. No pressure then
he muttered to himself, putting on his favourite fire robe. Drowsily, he walked out of his open bedroom door, down the stairs that were just outside his room and headed for the banquet room. Opening the elegant doors of the banquet room, he was hit by the delicious, yet overwhelming aroma of fire spices and different varieties of freshly prepared breakfast. Three Fireiod figures sat at a large and extremely long dining table. One figure was his mother, Queen Moltainia, to the left of her was Inferno’s father, King Volcanus and to the right of the Queen was Ignotor, Inferno’s younger brother, who was a year younger than him. Good morning dear
said the Queen cheerfully, looking up from her breakfast. How was your sleep?
My sleep was just fine, Mother.
Inferno drowsily replied. He strolled over to the dining table, took a seat next to Ignotor and, his stomach growling ravenously, reached for the selection of breakfast items that were displayed in the middle of the table, each one of his desired choice. He quickly loaded his molten rock plate with lava buttered molten rock toast, the fried flame bird eggs, the magma bacon and the flame snouter sausages. Inferno licked his lips at the hypnotising aroma of the snouter sausages.
Flame snouter’s were like giant fire pigs, a species that was known throughout numerous galaxies as a delicacy. Their flame meat was especially a delicacy in the fire kingdom since flame snouter’s only resided there and nowhere else. Tucking into his food, Inferno pictured how the day would pan out. He would probably train with his awesome flame sword to improve his battling techniques. Then he and his brother would assist the palace’s Fireiod farmers in growing Fireiod crops like starxian pods, cantu’vaan leaves and tem’ponash rods. Suddenly,
