About this ebook

The authors purpose for writing this thesis is to show how saints gain power after they repent from the sin of guilt. Converts who hold on to guilt will never seize the benefits of admitting it. Confessing faults helps saints to understand the advantages of a righteous soul. People who hold firm to guilt often criticize others for their shameful way of life. The scripture addresses how to recover from indiscretions, yet Christians still struggle with many self-deceptions. They mourn and cleave to condemning faults. Followers who allow negative memories to overwhelm an ethical conscious will act out of subversive motives. Disheartened motivations ignite blameworthiness and underscore a spirit of doubts.

    FOREWORD

I AM THE wife of Bishop Bingham Sr.’s, oldest son, Bishop Joe Cephus Bingham Jr. To this blessed union we have three children and three grandchildren. I co-pastor with my husband at the Lighthouse Church Ministries. However, I sat under Bishop, Senior’s teaching for 20 years, and know him to be a man of integrity, dedicated to Christian Education.

Bishop Bingham Sr.’s, work on DEALING WITH GUILT is groundbreaking for this modern age. It aids one in peeling back the layers of our life, and addresses life altering emotional self-blame. He shows how Guilt is a common nemesis that all of us encounter in life. But he explains his methods using righteous components, how we can effectively deal with the smallest, and the overwhelming concept of culpabilities.

This book shows that guilt is renowned yet a silent killer. Therefore, when Christians do not address self-blame through the Scriptures, they are using a band-aid solution for this chronic emotion. I love how Bishop Bingham clarifies that underestimated self-condemnation can create havoc in the spirit and leave behind a residue of blame to hinder future goals.

After reading this thesis, it amazes me to know; we recklessly relegate guilt to the recesses of our minds and allow it to be a fatal choice to our demise. This book, through the Holy Scriptures, illuminates the reason Christians must keep the mind free of guilt. The information in this thesis provided me with REVELATION of KNOWLEDGE to address convicting thoughts in my daily existence.

Moreover, the Bishop presents his resolutions in a non-threatening atmosphere, making it easy to transfer the concepts to everyday happenings to righteous living. His book has equipped me to engage a life free of guilt. Therefore, I am convinced that his conceptual theories will enable anybody to rise above self-blame and conquer guilt.

    I strongly recommend this book.

Guilt is the source of sorrows, the avenging fiend that follows us behind with whips and stings- Nicholas Rowe [i] ¹

    DEDICATION

I DEDICATE THIS thesis to all who deal with the psychological pain of guilt. I pray the Scriptures, stories, details, and facts in this book bless you. Much of the information is how Jesus helped Doctor Bingham to overcome his self-faults. The Word of God still keeps me, trusting when I want to throw in the towel.

I still give due diligence to my parents: Mittie and Ruben Bingham who is with Jesus. They taught me to honor the LORD at a young age.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
