Until age 39 Rick raised a family on Long Island and sold IBM computers and managed a software firm. After graduating from Nova Law School at age 41, Rick started a career in patent law and ran for US Congress in South Florida for the G.O.P. as “the idea man.” While writing over 1000 issued patents including his own Star Wars U.S. Pat No. 8,757,552, Rick studied piles of economics books .Rick’s conclusion at age 71 is that Western Capitalism is a failed political system, one that is headed for a revolt like that of the French and American revolutions against Aristocratic Dictatorships.Rick and his artist,Rob Birt, have created a cartoon illustrated rise and fall of the American Dream. The final chapter is written on Mars in the year 2065, after America loses World War Three to China.

But surely the big proprietors and the rich in America will make a revolution against such taxes. Such taxes appear to me to be revolutionary. The rich will revolt against the government when they see that they are threatened, exactly as the fascists have done here in Spain (1934)……….
It is possible.
Then you will have to fight in your country of America as we fight here.
Yes, we will have to fight.
Are there many fascists in America?
There are many who do not know they are fascists but will find it out when the time comes.
But you cannot destroy them until they rebel?
No, Robert Jorgen said, we cannot destroy them. But we can educate people so that they will fear fascism and recognize it as it appears and combat it.
For Whom The Bell Tolls, by Ernest Hemmingway, 1940

Biography
Rick Martin was a Republican candidate for the U.S. Congress, 14th Congressional District of Florida, November, 1986. Rick was born on the grounds of the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York on August 18, 1944.
He was raised in Merrick, Long Island, and is a product of the Merrick, New York public school system. After graduating from high school, Rick attended Bucknell University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
In 1966, and upon graduation, he volunteered for the Marine Corps. During basic training, Rick received injuries and was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1967 during the Vietnam War with a pre-existing medical condition, infantile polio.
After leaving the Corps, Rick successfully pursued a career as a salesman for IBM and Honeywell in the northeast United States. He ultimately served as an executive in high tech industries through 1982.
In order to finance law school, and learn a new trade at age 40, Rick held various positions. He worked as a reserve police officer and as a Supervisor of Security at Century Village in Deerfield Beach, served as an intern for a federal judge and an arbitrator for the Florida State Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
In December of 1984, after two and one half years of law school, Rick received his Juris Doctor of Law degree from Nova Law School. He became a registered patent attorney with his own firm in Delray Beach, Florida.
As a result of his technical, business and legal works, Rick received the honor of becoming a scholar on the Building and Housing Board on Urban Planning of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. Rick lectured in 1986 on a hypothetical airliner collision over New York City causing an economic depression due to America’s ridiculous tort law awards system.
Rick asks what type of people can kill/mutilate millions of Iraqis for oil that enriches only the upper one tenth of one percent of Americans. (This oil is now consumed by China, while the land our men died for has slipped back to the enemy
). In Sept., 2015 Russia and China militarily invaded Syria, China using her only aircraft carrier for the first time in combat. Russia and China are aligning with Iran, just as America drops embargos. Billions of our money will now flow into Iran (and find its way into Russia/China’s military/industrial complex). What? The cost of Iraq could have paid for an all-electric America, employing millions and creating new patents. These new patents for nuclear, wind, geothermal, tidal and space/solar systems could make America an energy exporter. Why is the American government forcing oil up your ass? How does the Syrian (religious) civil war sponsored by Russia differ from Iraq as sponsored by America?
Rick relocated to Longmont, Colorado in 1989. He has written over 1000 patents since then, wherein Longmont has ten times the inventor to population density as does America.
He volunteers for the Navy League as the Congressional Liaison Officer to promote the Navy budget in Congress.
He has authored an autobiography, Democrat Justice, and a first look at America’s declining Middle Class, No Money. This book is a second look at America’s rapidly declining Middle Class.

Man is born as a ball of clay. He has certain inalienable qualities such as density, color, size and little else that is basic to his nature except selfishness.
At once he is set upon and molded by incalculable and often invisible forces. These forces include material needs either met or denied for his hunger, warmth, and health. If he is fortunate enough to obtain these basic needs, he grows and is set upon by the metaphysical needs of love, curiosity, companionship and achievement. Most men die never grasping these forces that mold them throughout life. Some few men gain insight into the social, economic and political forces that mold their lives. Throughout history a few have changed the pattern into which all men are woven. The greatest of these men is our beloved Paul. He made in jail the New Testament. (More on this in Chapter 20).

The free market
capitalism that has been sold to the American public since Ronald Reagan’s Trickle Down Theory of 1982 has transformed America back to the Aristocratic governments of Old Europe. Walmart’s family wealth alone is greater than over 40 percent of American families combined. America’s New Aristocracy consists of large corporations (like Walmart) and Wall Street financial executives (earning $20 million to one billion dollars a year) and rich folk like Donald Trump and Mitt Romney.
America’s Middle and Lower Classes (the 99%) simply have no political or economic power against this aristocratic elite (the 1%). In 1907 Teddy Roosevelt signed into law the Tillman act which prohibited political contributions by corporations. In 2010 the
