The keeper of the clock of time,

Waits patiently for its loud chime.

He keeps a vigil over all,

And checks the hour each is called.

And no one knows his chosen date,

Except the keeper: charge of fate.

His kingdom waits on those allied-

And thrashing teeth, for those denied.

The rainbow nature weaves each fall,

Is woven into autumn’s wall.

A wall of rolling mountains fanned-

Like giant bisons through the land.

I took an early morning stroll

Across the forest green in whole

Espying mother nature’s role

In keeping beauties to behold..

Beside the trail I found a bowl

Of tawny sun, with stem to hold.
