Chapter 1

THE NATURE AND OMNISCIENCE OF LOVE

I t is understood that the way is dark and dreary at times as you ponder each step. The question then becomes, what is it that God is trying to impart to each seemingly unlearned yet ethereal soul? He seeks to impart that all is love, within and without the approved and expected forces that engage every moment. The way is dark, and each one treads with fearful steps along life’s by-ways, though boldness would sometimes yield a trusting result. The faith of each must stand unyielding, as a hallmark of fortitude and love, in the midst of the turmoil so prevalent in the w orld.

The pestilence of AIDS, drugs, and other destructive scourges, with which humankind seeks to injure the very fabric of humanity, abound. Yet there is a path around it that you must seek, as each step is guided by love from day to day. The strength is tested and sorely tried, and the weak succumb, but you need only look to nature, where examples abound, to teach of the miracles of love. The huge oak is felled by the mighty wind, where the thin blades of grass survive. It is a marvel to behold, the nature of the power that is love. Man’s spirituality soars beyond the outer reaches of the mind, and there are mysteries yet to be explained.

If you seek, you shall find—this is a well-known truism, and so, endless expeditions are launched to reveal the truths of nature, humankind, and the unknown. The world is a multidimensional arena that cannot be viewed in black-and-white. The complexities demand that the search yields areas of gray. The grays are hard to find and at times appear to evade the unidimensional thinker, but humankind is known to be reasonable and inevitably is also capable of reasoning. Yet these two aspects of our perceptions can be in conflict with the known parameters of living, though they are not mutually exclusive.

Our perception has always been of a God outside ourselves, looking at each of us from a distance. Yet each one is the essence of All That Is and will come to know that God is within all—an ever-present force and our greater potential. He loves His children, whom He seeks to guide and lead onto the paths of peace and tranquility. He knows the errors that each makes, and He shines the light on these dark corners of our presence, so that each one of us could learn from them and rectifies our missteps that result.

As we each learn from these missteps, we are renewed to continue on the path to fulfill our missions and our goals. We need not try to hide from God because He knows our every mood. He knows our every thought and seeks to help us mend our ways. You may have been taught that you would be judged by the errors that you make, but God has always chosen to allow you to exercise free will, in the hope that you would learn from your experiences and come to understand that it is His way of ensuring that you become the best of whom you chose to be.

In God’s world, there are no errors, only missteps that you have chosen to experience, and He seeks to guide you back along the pathways of love and sincerity. The misguided behaviors of humankind were meant to teach a lesson, and as you grow into enlightenment, you will learn how to use the positive aspects of life, to engender the growth that comes from these misdirected steps. Each individual comes to earth with a mission—to experience certain aspects of life.

In a community, each experience is meant to positively impact the comprehensive whole. Each individual learns from the other’s path, and in so doing, a continued process of enlightenment unfolds. The experiences of humankind are infinite, and the growth can be exponential when the light of love is focused on the experience of each, and the whole learns from that experience. This is the lesson I give to you as children of God—to know that God is not a vengeful God. He is long-suffering, loving, and merciful, and He loves His children well.

He seeks to protect His children from harm, but He has also given them free will. In so doing, He has left the children of the earth to find their way back to Him, but humankind has found a way to misunderstand the teachings of old.

Remember that as a child of God, you have the ability to discern these foes (missteps) with love. Your smile can be disarming, and the anger that once erupted within your being will be replaced. Love is all you need to counter any negative experiences that you have chosen to experience for a time. Lest you forget, the communities will learn how to assist each other in dispossessing the individual of all negative aspects of behavior.

As children of God, seek to learn and understand that His hand, a merciful Hand that extends beyond the imaginations of humankind, is now guiding you. He sees your every need and gives you all that you ask for, but He also knows which direction to point your thoughts, so that you will always seek the appropriate lessons. And the ideas that will erupt within you will be the ones that help you to pursue a spiritual path. The goal will always be to move you to a higher understanding of yourself, so that anyone who seeks to grow beyond God’s measure will not derail the evolution of humankind into a highly evolved being.

He will always seek to be your friend and guide, and you will come to know Him personally as your Savior, and your mentor in all things. There is no task that is impossible for Him to control, and you will find that within each lesson, you will be able to surmount the problem, leading you on to ever-higher ground.

The path is clear, but it will not be easy, because the limitations that humankind has placed upon itself will not be easy to break. It is a trend that, over time, will become much easier to discern, and humankind will then be able to break free of the bonds that keep the spirit restless, longing to be free. The abilities that will be engendered in growing day by day will free the mind of anguish, pain, and all displeasure. Humankind will grow to know that love is all there is, and it always will be yours throughout infinity.

We are God’s children, and as such, we will pursue the goals that He has set for us to achieve, so that we can move from place to place within His kingdom, without entrapments that hold us in one place. Space travel will become the normal way of life on earth, and you will meet your counterparts on other galaxies—those who have been anxiously waiting for earth to come into light and see the unfolding universe as a playground for God’s children.

This will be the moment when the All will be fulfilled for humankind, and you will be victorious in seeing the dawn of time that has so long eluded your grasp. The glorious day is not far away, and in this book, you will find that all the lessons it teaches will bring you closer, day by day, to that magnificent awakening—a consciousness aroused and eager to move forward, to share the bounty that has always been your birthright.

You have been slow in awakening, but the time has come, according to God’s plan, to bring you into harmony with your brothers and sisters on earth, before you can partake in the universal brotherhood that eagerly awaits your return.

Humankind has been gone from the fold of God for far too long, but the trials and the tribulations will be worth the reward. You have been long-suffering in trying to reach beyond yourself, to enter God’s kingdom. You have tried in every measure, to seek the door that has always been open to you, but you did not know how to find the opening mechanism to thrust it wide open. It is now ajar as you make your way home, and you will see that it was always unlocked.

You are a mighty people, and it has been a mighty challenge for all who understand the nature of God’s testament of truth and righteousness but could not reach the mind of humankind, which preferred the mundane avenues of life. Those who have gone before you await your return. And they long to see the loved ones who have journeyed to the depths of anguish in the struggle to understand God’s world and its entire people. They were always anxious, lest you were left behind, but it was understood that the souls who had joined you to help you on your path would come into their fullness of spirit when the time was right to embark on the journey to bring you to the light.

You are a fortunate people. And you will understand this, when you see the army of workers, who have been working by your side, to bring you to the moment when you would realize that God’s love has always been with you, and waiting to be tried.

The love of God has never left your side. The moans of the children were always the way in which He tried to reach you and regain your love, but you were never present at the moments when you should have been listening to that loud clarion call. You were too steeped in misery and self-pity to know that God was with you, always and forever. You need to understand that there is a blessing in each moment. Learn how to seek it, and discern the lesson that it unfolds.

Each soul has come to experience life on earth and to experience some modicum of human failing and endeavor. If this is understood, then you will know how to help that soul who is striving to reach enlightenment from within the depths of his or her continuance—a place to go within oneself to be at one with God.

God is always there to acknowledge your experience and guide you through it, and you will come to know that place within the external framework of your being. You can join Him at any time, so that you can be renewed and can be taught to exercise the freedom that has always been yours to encounter.

God is love. Each child of God is made in His image. Therefore, we are love. It emanates from our very beings. We are one with God, and the universality of that oneness is exemplified in His teachings, as elucidated by the eminent scribes who composed words of wisdom that touch the soul.

These represent a guidepost for all of us, no matter what our roles in life. It is important, therefore, to understand that a return to love and oneness must be experienced for the healing to begin. We have lived as a fractured group for too long, and the time has come for all the peoples of the earth to reunite with God. Love is the answer. He has loved us unconditionally and has given us free will on our individual paths to self-actualization and enlightenment. We have seen humankind’s inhumanity to humankind. Let us now display our love.

Love is not being used here as a romantic notion. It is the love of one family member or friend for another. We are all God’s children. Each of us is precious in His sight. We are the product of His love. The faith of old has kept each member of His family together. Each has held a place in His kingdom, and from the earliest times, He has sought to save them from themselves. These remarkable dictates, which have engaged our deepest and most spiritual fortitude through the ages, propel us forward to answer the call of love and to persuade us to embrace the conceptual and literal safe havens God has always provided to keep us safe in His arms.

Humankind alone continues to live each day, seeking, through greed, to outdo each other. The spoils go to the rich and strong, and the poor is left to go hungry, despite the abundance that exists on earth. Each person for himself or herself has become the rule of law. This must cease, for we do not live by bread alone but by the countenance of God’s grace and love. We must seek to love each other and to lay up a storehouse of grain to share with each other, in good times and in bad. The example of the lesser creatures on earth should be a model for all humanity.

My own experience of love during my childhood within my family allows me to express that feeling for all I meet. There is no difference, one race from another. My travels to many countries have made me aware that human nature is the same in all of us, no matter what culture. The behaviors exhibited in one are the same as the other. Let us not justify our anger and decry another’s. It is the same emotion in each of us. Anger and hatred often begets anger and hatred.

Leaders have been given an opportunity to lead, and as leaders, we will urge and begin to inculcate a people through love and understanding. The rightness of the laws of humankind will become the spirit of the new and living earth, in great surrender to the throng of voices raised in harmony and song. The laws of humankind will become the trilogy of long-awaited service to each other, as we seek to render justice to the many. The laws will be upheld, because we will see that our destiny lies in becoming one.

The strength of the people will carry the force of law and place it on the agenda of the tribunals that replace the existing governments, for we are the children of a just and loving God. We are the love of God and will make the crooked straight, for only in following the spiritual path can we become the children we were meant to be. Each one will seek to ensure the best for the other, to evolve into the kind of earth where each is full of abundant grace and love.

This is not an idealistic view. It is the only means by which to achieve wholeness. We are all on a spiritual journey, though at different levels of evolution, but we have forgotten and lost our awareness. There are no places where anyone can hide from God. He sees our willful ways, but He also knows that we are full of love, and this will eventually overcome. Let no one cast aspersions on the other, for there is no one without flaw. We are meant to overcome our flaws, individually and as a whole. For the combination of flaws have overwhelmed the purpose of our lives and created a barren ground for the seeds of ignorance to grow.

This is what we seek: to be more aware and to allow God to work in our lives, to cocreate with Him a universe where all will be at peace. The years have rolled by on a journey to become that which we are. A life that has been punctuated along the way with happy times, sadness, leaving behind loved ones and cherished friendships, and many learning experiences. The earliest recollections of my childhood years arouse the deepest sense of joy.

I have chosen to write about the bond of love in its many forms, pure and unadulterated. The universe is calling for us to return to that love with a universal consciousness, so that we can begin to rebuild our world based on love and respect for all. We are alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, for it is written in the scriptures that this exemplifies the total oneness of God and the universe, of which we are an integral part. We need to let the scriptures teach us the spiritual nature of our sojourn here and begin to let go of all the fears and judgments that have been seared into our consciousness.

We are all on a spiritual path, with each of us experiencing our own blessings in the pursuit of fulfilling our missions to move us into a state of grace. Many inspiring songs bring forth the sense of love and endurance that has imbued our lives, and if we study the words and apply them to the many experiences of our human condition, we will find our way back to God. Our spiritual path is before us. It is exemplified in the love of God and the love we have for each other, no matter how divergent our cultures and our thinking.

These are the many aspects of God, and He wants us consciously to begin to show our love for one another. We are in this together. Our predilection for His mighty love is echoed in the words that insinuate that the way, the truth, and the light exemplified the totality of His oneness with His children. He is love, and the only path is the path of love. This is the promise of the new heaven and the new earth, and the time is now. It will happen. Our work has just begun—a new day is dawning, a new age of spirituality. We will be at peace, living in the spirit as we were meant to
