About this ebook
Jose Chavez
The author was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1983. When he was 4 he moved to Los Angeles California, U.S., where he was raised by his single mother whom worked hard to provide for him and build him to the man he is today. He has always kept his Mexican roots close to his heart as he remembers his grandmother teaching him the arts of the land, music, and the power of the human spirit. Through the traditions of Mexican folklore, festivities, religion and the mysticism of the unknown, he has been able to incorporate storytelling into his paintings and into his written work. He also understands the importance of the American culture and its influences in his work and in his person, the pursuit of happiness, equality, justice and the greatness of the diversity that make up the country.

Stop!
Don’t be fooled by the mirrors in your hands.
It has evolved into a sophisticated conquistador.
Don’t let the times fool you, enslave you and steal the wonders that life brings.
Look not onto the surface of its body, but to the darkness of its soul and awaken your spirits.
Be wise look at the surroundings that are free from cost and slowly dying.
Don’t allow your value to be consumed by the expensive and fraudulent device you call technology.
