About this ebook

The collection of poems is centered on the headspace of the author and contains poems about religion, war, society, and even an ode to cats. It specifically looks at problems at some parts of society that the author has encountered growing up in the sparse rural community that is South Wales. It is a collection of poems that not only contains good topics to use in general conversations but also contains what I have felt about the topics over the last year or so. I hope that people can relate to these poems and feel some empowerment over society.

Author

Thomas Petty

Thomas Petty was born and raised around the area of Caerphilly in south Wales. Only in the last two years has he developed a likeness for poetry with the use and form of words and phrases that were complimentary to his upbringing. After writing short stories for fun with his family, he decided to take up writing as a serious ambition, with the purpose of sharing his views and ideas with the book community, and the wider society alike. He currently resides in Blackwood, south Wales, and hopes to be an aspiring poet and writer.
