    About The Author

    Dedication

This book is for our dearest grandchildren, Brandon Kemp and Tyanna Kemp. They are the best grandkids any grandparents could ever ask for. We love them very much.

As soon as she was born, her Mama started carrying Maana in her pouch. Did you know that Koala bears have pouches like kangaroos do? So, wherever Mama went, so did Maana. She was safe and loved in that pouch and only came out to munch on eucalyptus leaves.

She stayed there for about six months. She also kept growing bigger in there. When she came out,
