    INTRODUCTION

    This book is paraphrased and fictionalized from the story of the 2,000 stripling young warriors, from the Book of Mormon and in the book of Alma, Chapters 56 - 59. The Book of Mormon is considered by it’s adherents as holy scripture, just as much as the Bible. This sacred book is considered to be another testament of Christ, because within these pages, the Savior appeared to the inhabitants of America after His resurrection.

    Just as one could take the story of David & Goliath, and imagine what David’s life was like growing up in ancient Israel, so I did with the fictional life of Turkon, although I stayed on script with what actually happened within the Book of Mormon.

    I hope my readers enjoy what it would be like to be a part of this grand undertaking.
