His research interests include the anatomy of the eye, ancient and modern. He has previously written the story of anatomic eye, The Eye: Atlas of Anatomical History. The purpose of this work is to present to professionals of the visual sciences the results obtained in the research of anatomical dimensions of the multiple structures of the eye obtained in vivo. This research was completed through utilizing current auxiliary instruments in ophthalmological diagnosis that utilized microns as units and thus, allowed obtaining high optical resolution images.
