Success in my highest regards, isnt a state of what we are able to do when everything in life is functioning according to normality, but what we are able to produce when we are forced to produce against the normal circumstances in our lives. Winston Churchill once quoted that, Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. The object of this literature is to help completely restore the hearts of men and women throughout the world and spark within the mind the fact that no matter what circumstances may look like or how difficult the road may seem to achieve your ultimate goal. INTRODUCTION

Though the Lord is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with Your right hand You save me. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever–do not abandon the works of Your hands. -Psalm 138: 7-8 (NIV)

As I glance at the daily operations of the world according to mankind. We all seem to align our lives by doing whatever is deemed necessary to reach a place of complete happiness and good success in our everyday lives. Have you ever taken out the time to think exactly what does it really mean to be happy and what is required of man to obtain the happiness that he/she truly desires which places man in a position of true success? As a young man, I believed that having a beautiful wife, three children, a three or four-bedroom home with the white picket fence, and the family station wagon was the basis of a successful life for a man. At least, by the images which were portrayed through the media box called the television, sitcom after sitcom portrayed this image towards young Americans, that this was the image of success for man. When we take a look into the lives of the successful people in our society. We look for the symbols of their success and we automatically assume that they’re living successful lives based off of the pleasurable things that they have to their disposal to enjoy. If asked the question, Does happiness and success correlate? I believe we would all agree that they work together to manifest a good life. So, if this is true for a successful life to be tied into happiness, then the same can be spoken of regarding to a life of failure being tied to unhappiness. Unhappiness has a companion and that mate is called failure. Failure has many definitive meanings that can be used to express how we as men and women are affected by its disease that plagues our hearts and minds. Keeping us in a state of deception and crippling us from living every day in a true state of happiness and good success. One definitive meaning for failure is that it’s a state of inability to perform a normal function. After looking at this definition I quickly asked myself, How does one struggle to perform a normal function? It is a normal function to wake up in the morning, rise out of bed, wash your face and brush your teeth, etc. These are normal functioning activities that we all do on a daily basis. The only things that can hinder one from performing a normal function is if he neglects to put forth the effort to do what is practically a normal function or if a circumstance arises which has created a physical inability to perform what is normal, which means the task is a normal task but the one who is designed to do the task has become incapacitated in some manner or another and it has affected his ability to perform what was practically normal according to his ability to produce in times past. This leads to the next definitive meaning of failure. Failure is a state of mind that confronts us all in different phases of our lives, but we all have what it takes to overcome and put forth our greatest efforts to propel us to a life of happiness and overall success. I believe the first step to overcoming failure is understanding who we are as a man or woman created by God, understanding our entitlements through our relations with our Heavenly Father, and understanding that through our faith in God; there is nothing that renders us as failures. That we are successful no matter how abnormal the situation we are facing is. Winston Churchill, who became the Prime Minister of the UK, was steadfast in his refusal to surrender to the opposing German Nazis and their leader, Adolph Hitler. Churchill, inspired British resistance during its most difficult and stressful days to obtain victorious success in World War II. I’m sure that Winston learned to remain totally enthused in the midst of some very uncertain circumstances, no matter how difficult it looked. He refused to let the situation around him affect his daily approach to overcoming Hitler and his Army of Nazis. The victory begins with understanding what has been placed in us by the One who gives us the spark of life to be happy and successful. My prayer is that we all are open to the knowledge of being empowered to be effectively happy and successful no matter what abnormalities we face in our lives. We must trust and believe that the God of heaven and earth will not abandon us. He will fulfill His purpose in our lives no matter what circumstances will arise to bring us to a place of failure. We will overcome and succeed in the journey of life. Welcome to COMPLETE RESTORATION: Overcoming Failure.
