Rumi-Nations on Desire: The Song of Songs
()
About this ebook
Edward A. Vinson
If prophecy is not to be despised, the author is called as an ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven to be a voice and write, inspired by God's Spirit. To this end he has lived out an amazing three-strand testimony, written on his heart to illuminate God's Love for Israel. The strands involve God's Death-defying deliverance of the author, his wife, children and parents. Fruit of the explosive treasure in this testimony ('TNT' ) is given the poetic voice as he seeks to sail life's seas and “speak...in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Ephesians 5:19).

This is a work of inspired imagination. Some may call it a fiction and entirely coincidental. But it is more a work of ‘Synchronicity’ and a reflection on the Biblical Mystery of the Word of God
made flesh in Jesus, the Beloved, the
desire of nations, and
in you", in man down through the ages and sought after as the Wisdom of God by kings like Solomon.

Introduction
RUMI-Nations of Desire
The Heavens declare the Glory of God….In them He has set a tabernacle,
a tent for the sun, which is as a Bridegroom coming out of His chamber." - Psalms 19:1, 4, 5
"I will shake all nations and the Desire of nations will come and I will fill
this house with Glory." – Haggai 2:7
As in the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
- Matthew 24:37
"For your Maker is your Husbandman… and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel,
the God of all the Earth…. And this, to Me, is as the Waters of Noah…. My Love shall
be immovable." - from Isaiah 54
Acknowledgements
Over many years, my soul has fed upon the Word. I have fed, inside, a depth, on many translations of the Book, the Bible, the Holy, God- inspired Scriptures. I give thanks for ‘people of the Book’ who have lived and died For the Word and the spread of its Good Influence. I am thankful for the translations they have left us, freely given, as portions of an Inheritance, a New Inheritance
from God. They have surrounded me and overflowed onto the Table God spreads for us to take and eat
, to taste and see
. Once a Seer prophesied over us, I see a picture of you surrounded my many books.
And so I have been. To write for Me
, to write for God, as some are called to do, we be seated with Christ in heavenly places
and we must also pull up a chair at the Table where His Word is served and spread and shared by those who immerse themselves in giving us translations of the Bible. It is out of that rich, diverse fare, where East and West have met in one accord, that of my inmost being streams
have bubbled up in me that have their source in the work of Bible translators. It is thus that, by the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Breath of God, the Ruach ha Kodesh, that morning by morning a fire ignites within these bones. In streams it has flowed out, in thanksgiving and in Imitation of Christ
, and as a child, to imitate
my Father Who is in heaven. I do this in memory of Him and of those who have gone before us and have been pioneers, and have made plain the way, made plain the vision
of the Lord, that we, in our generations, may run with it
— the Vision of His face that shines on us through words made flesh, through Word-made-flesh, and waters of His Word turned into EDWARD A. VINSON Wine in such a marriage of our minds, from His, the Mind of Christ,
from which I drink and have been satisfied, to thirst no more
, yet daily thirst for more of Him and not forsake the Spring of Living Water
, found.
Here, pause with me, and drink your fill.

Notes on the Title
In 2015 the author spent a month in Israel for the Fall Feasts of the LORD, most specifically for Succot or the Feast of Tabernacles when the Lord comes to be with
and dwell in
the midst of His people, in ‘tents of flesh’, as Treasure in ‘jars of clay’, as Light within our inmost parts, as Waters of His Word made flesh. He seeks to be as one
with us, the very Lover of our souls, and fill us up to overflow… with Wine of the Beloved, poured. He is the Broken and Poured out. We, from His brokenness, come forth, as new creations
, born of God, not of the will of man at all. He comes to be our Husbandman
and we, the bride
of His Desire. He is our Peace; and the Desire of nations
, comes. He draws us to be by His side and found in Him
, a Refuge from the Storms that rise.
It was during this Feast that ends with an explosion of great Joy at the giving of the Word in marriage
to both the land and people of the Book, that the author was found to have his footsteps ordered from above
, and synchronized
by Leadership, from deep within, an inner path
, the ancient Way of Mystery
, of Christ in you
, as one anointed to partake, to take his place beneath the bell called Liberty
, performing marriage vows again. Such Freedom, found, must be proclaimed throughout the land, to all inhabitants thereof
. To what End? This: Awaken love
. Let there be More!
The Words of Spirit, resonate, to tremble in our hidden place
, where Mantled in Shekinah’s folds, we find the Pearl
that Wisdom, in the Spirit, is. Some hide it all the days they live. Some open up the doors to More
and say, Come follow me, into The Door, across the Threshold, in Love’s arms, into the Place that He prepares; for, as Kaduri, I have known Messiah’s Name, and it is in me now, for Good, and cannot be denied as Truth. Come,
kiss the son, but not for silver or for gold, but for the Joy of Love made known, the Peace that comes when He is ours and we are His.
And so it was, and so, as it is written, Is…. THE I AM THAT I AM
, is Love
.
The author found, that he was standing in the Way, within the gap, bridging the distance of divorce
between God’s people and I AM. He had been called so many things, a Talking-horse
like Balaam’s ass,
