About this ebook
Its been nigh on ten years since L-Z of the renowned know-it-all big book family has been off the library shelf in aisle 10. Gathering dust, hes grown lonely and sad waiting for somebody, anybody, to remove him from the shelf, crack open his red leather jacket, and turn his pages.
One rainy and blustery day, L-Z gets a surprise. A big, burly man grabs him, checks him out, and takes him home. But L-Z discovers this experience is not at all what he has dreamed about.
A picture book for children, Have You Been Down to the Library Lately? shares the unique adventures of a library book who got more than he bargained for.
Dee Russell
Dee was born in Yorkshire to a Scouse Father and a Geordie Mother which, she says, is the reason for her strange accent. Her passion for dancing as a teenager came to an abrupt end when struck down with arthritis. During her illness Dee fell in love with books and her love of reading and her motto of learning a new word each day led her to write this story. Dee is happily married to her childhood sweetheart who whisked her and her hairy mutt from the U.K. to Australia in the year 2000 where they still live today.
