Claiming Your Victory: Victory Is a Precious Gift from God
Author

Reverend Jacquelyn K. McCoy

As a true believer in Christ Jesus this book was written through faith, experience and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We are to be living testimonies to the word of God and finding Victory is my testimony. It changed my life forever. It will change yours too. Through my experiences I have learned the true meaning of God’s love, power, strength, protection and healing- which is needed for our souls. As a Pastor, preacher and teacher of the gospel I have been called by God to bring hope and encouragement to all believers and non-believers. I believe this book will empower and inspire all readers, young and old.

    Dedication

I would like to begin giving all thanks to God, Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior who makes all things possible. I dedicate this book to you Lord. Thank you Holy Spirit for the inspiration, vision and the words to write.

I thank my anointed husband, Copastor Kevin D. McCoy, a true evangelist who encouraged me and believed I had the ability to write. I thank my son, Michael C. Johnson Sr., and grandson, Michael Jr., who supported my visions. I love you and thank you so much for believing in me.

To the Victorious Life Worship Center Family, Minister Kathy Eanes and my Deacon Billy Graham, his wife, my daughter Teresa (deceased), who believe in their pastor and held up my arms, I love you and thank you. You have the victory.

I thank God for my father, Emmett Reynolds (deceased), who always spoke wisdom and encouraging words: Don’t be afraid to try. You can do it. He always said I had a special way with words. Daddy, you baby girl did it!

I thank my sister in Christ, Elder Victorene Brooks, who believed one day I would accomplish this. To Brother Wallace Wright, one of my faithful church members who always encouraged me to teach and speak, thank you. A dedicated member who is unable to come to church, you have always supported me. Pastor never forgot those encouraging words. I love you and thank you.

Thanks and much love to Bishop Edna Isaac Greene for praying and mentoring my husband and me. Thank God for sending me to work for Dr. Mae Edwin Burke, my God-given teacher with whom I spent precious hours reading and discussing Scriptures.

To Dr. Nancy Arness, who always said, Whatever you do, keep writing, thank you. To a lifelong friend, Mr. David Taswell, a coworker who always told me I was different and my ways of thinking and caring for others was above what was considered normal. He helped me realize I was gifted and special. He said it would be easy for me to walk with God because I understood the Word of God and how to apply it to life’s trials and tribulations. Thank you. To Prophetess Requita Waters, who was God sent. She works diligently to open doors to support my visions through her awesome ministry. Thank you.

To all my friends and extended church family, sisters in Christ, thank you for allowing me to plant God’s seed in your lives, and thank God for allowing you to impart His wisdom into mine.

From deep in my heart, I humbly thank all you for your love and support. I pray this book will bless you and be an inspiration to your soul as it is to mine.
