The story so far:
Hope is a new student at the elite Meio School. A rural country girl, Hokkaido is hopelessly out of place among the schools snobbish students who have nick named her Nature lover.
Her only defense is her natural resilience. Hope meets the handsome but aloof Ken Kugyo, the son of the school’s founder, and discovers
his secret: Ken brings instruments and birds on campus even though it is a violation of Meio school policy.
Intrigued, Hope tries to get closer, only to be rebuffed by Ken, who doesn’t believe in friendship. However, when Hope is harassed for bringing instruments and a bird house on campus, he stands up for her. Ken and Hope’s budding relationship doesn’t go unnoticed, especially by Eva, who pretends to be Hope’s friend?
Eva dreams of marrying Ken, the heir to a vast family fortune. After secretly sabotaging Hopes endeavors, Eva admits her feelings, and intentions, towards Ken. Despite it all, Hope, Ken and Eva continue to work together on the musical committee, but lurking in the shadows is a stranger who despises all three of them for his own reasons.
In the morning Hope wakes up and looks at the clock and said yawning…
OH NO! I OVERSLEPT AGAIN!! KEN AND EVA ARE GOING TO KILL ME!!
WE’RE STILL SETTING UP THE CLASSROOM, INSTRUMENTS AND THE BIRD HOUSES OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM!! I better hurry and…Oh, Ken’s handkerchief!
Hope thinks back to that conversation when he says (You keep it.
