She dreamed of being a writer from the time she was a young girl growing up in a small Northeastern Ohio country town. Long walks in the woods would elicit short poems written on random pieces of paper, tucked away in her pocket to be read at a later time. Eventually, she longed to write more than simple, youthful poetry…she wanted to be a ‘teller of stories’ and bring those stories to life on paper. This book is the product of those longings and desires to ‘tell a story’. Sharon belongs to various professional organizations and is a member of a local writer’s organization located in San Francisco, California. She lives in Northeast Ohio and has two adorable dachshunds, Jack and Maggie. She also has a son, daughter and three beautiful granddaughters, Emily Grace, Elina Hope and Elyssa Faith, as well as many extended family members and friends dear to her heart.
