About this ebook

About two thousand years ago Jesus came into His own, and even though they had Scripture and His miracles, most of His creation did not recognize Him as the Messiah. Unfortunately, one will come that will be received, and he will be the Antichrist. Those who worship him or take the mark of the Beast shall be cast into the lake of fire. There is plenty of Scripture in the Bible to help anyone to recognize the Antichrist. This is one thing someone does not want to get wrong.

Author

J. L. Vibbert

To paraphrase Amos 7:14, I am not a prophet or the son of a prophet. I am a working man, but the Lord God called me to preach to his people. I have been on the mission field preaching and evangelizing in Honduras and am planning to return. I also serve as the Sunday school director at my church. I have a passion for God’s Word and the end times. After seeing several programs on the end times, I started researching God’s Word in order to find out for myself what the Holy Bible had to say. After several years of researching, I have put all that I had together in the form of a book.

PROPHEY is not talked about much in the Baptist realm.

Have you ever thought… If I only knew then what I know now.

Or … I wish I could have seen that coming.

With that thought in mind I would like for us to look at Matthew chapter 24. This is a chapter that seems to get little attention.

26782.png an has asked the question When will the end of the world be. The ancient Mayans believed there would be an end and they even had a date for the event. Through the years men have wrongly predicted the end. There have been dates and times set for the end or set for the Rapture. Instead of looking to the bible for answers, men would rather look to the stars, or look to science, or try to get answers from the spirit world. If man would just look into God’s word, The Holy Bible, and most especially the words of Jesus, he could get some insights on the end of the age.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (KJV)

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knowth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father in heaven only. (KJV)

When I hear someone or hear of a culture who has predicted the date of the end of the age, I think back on the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:35 and 36. Jesus says no one can predict the day or the hour, so when someone predicts the day, either they are lying or Jesus is. As for me I am sticking with Jesus and believe no one can predict the day. But I do believe there are signs that point toward the end of the age. I believe there are definite indicators that let us know we are near the end. I believe the end will come slowly and subtly so that if you are not aware of what is happening it will take you by complete surprise. This is a question that the disciples asked Jesus about. In Matthew chapter 24 and in Mark chapter 13 and in Luke chapter 24, Jesus discusses
