About this ebook
Songs of Eternity is a collection of thirty-seven poems reflective of the authors inner dialogue between the relative, mundane aspect of consciousness and the Higher Selfeternal, inherent inner wisdom. Written in a playful style, these poems are rich in deep, spiritual meaning and profound understanding of the connection between the two, providing the opportunity for the reader to relate in this manner to different topics covered in the poems outside the scope of limiting linear thinking. The poems are melodious and therefore called songs, singing praise to life in every form and gratitude for rewarding empowerment arising from the merging of the relative self with higher consciousness. Intended for all of humanity, these poems will touch every readers heart, for they speak the language of the heart, unique and understandable by all.

Prologue
About the dog
Many a time has my daughter asked for a dog. In any capacity, to buy, to adopt or to foster. Always, has she encountered the same response from us, simple No!
We, my husband and me, had good reasons and explanations for our non affirmative stand on this matter, including responsibility for care that would fall on us, once children get satiated with the newcomer. And we are working,
and we had a lot on our plates already.
One morning, in October of 2013 our daughter came to my husband, again approaching him with the same request. She downplayed it this time to fostering a dog, since it is short term commitment and she was willing to do everything herself.
While they were talking, my husband was browsing new e -mails, and there he finds letter from local Humane Society, where the two of them volunteered in the past, to hush her deep longing for a dog. They were looking for a home to foster Chihuahua with broken front leg for 6 weeks. He looked at the e-mail, than he looked at our daughter, still lobbying for her cause not being aware of this letter.
We stopped believing in coincidences long ago.
He said Yes!
She drove herself to the Humane Society, got papers to sign and she brought her first dog ever to our home. Seven years old, long haired, black Chihuahua, severely overweight and with front leg in pink cast. I was at work when the dog arrived, she settled in her metal cage in one corner, silent and
