INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this book is to ultimately help churches, schools, and youth groups with the capacity to provide Godly entertainment, as well as, train individuals with the confidence to perform for future service in the ministry.

These plays are designed to portray ordinary life involving Biblical stories and character lessons that can be applied to every day situations.

Each play includes notes referring to actors and scene changes. Most scene changes include music specials sung by a choir. Because of copyright approval, song suggestions were added to allow the director the use of liberty for individual performances. These may be included or omitted based on the director’s discretion. Each play is adaptable to work with any age group and number of class size.

Included in the back of this book are some helpful tips on performing a play. They include some notes and reminders, play, costume, and dress rehearsal notes, as well as, a tentative play practice performance schedule.

The goal through the publication of this book is to aid in the Lord’s work, and to help those who seek to see His will accomplished for His glory and honor.
