At the ripe old age of 34, Daly Cherry-Evans is one of the NRL’s most senior players. He may be going from strength-to-strength, having captained the Manly Sea Eagles since 2017 and the Queensland Maroons since 2019, as well as being a key member of the Kangaroos national team, but with his Manly contract expiring at the end of 2025, it’s only natural that the word “retirement” is being thrown around.
