About the author With a degree in education from the University of Mississippi, Patsy has taught second grade in Memphis, Tennessee, and Class One at Providence Christian School in Dallas, Texas. Serving in Bible Study Fellowship and Precept Ministries for twenty-four years has enriched her love for God’s Word. She believes that a strong biblical foundation will equip children to live victoriously and affect others for Christ’s kingdom. Recognizing the value of prayer, she writes a letter for grandparents to use in praying for their grandchildren. Her prayer is that this book will reap eternal benefits and bless all who read it. About the illustrator Angela Elledge began her artistic career with a BA in Advertising Design from the University of Louisiana. After becoming a mother, Angela became a sought-after art teacher; she has been shaping the creative talents of students for more than twenty-two years, the last of which have been focused on inner-city children at West Dallas Community School. Angela is known for her beautiful impressionistic pet portraits. She aims to paint each pet with the love that is shared between the owner and their beloved friend. Angela is an accomplished plein air artist; she delights in the challenge of painting in the middle of a rural field or quiet city spot, capturing a moment in time.
