AN EXCITING TIME TO BE ALIVE

I became a Christian in Rio Vista, California, through my pastor’s son, Glenn. I am forever thankful to Glenn for having the courage to bring me to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. From then on I studied Bible prophecy, describing myself as a Watchman on the Wall, studying and trying to discern what the Holy Spirit would have me learn, searching out those things God has hidden. During the past roughly forty years, I have read many books written by Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, the late Pastor Chuck Smith, Pastor John Hagee, and Evangelist Perry Stone, just to name a few. I could not get enough of Bible prophecy as it applied to the time I am living in. Then along came the Internet and the World Wide Web, which became a powerful tool for research, viewing videos, and talking with other Christians concerning prophecy about the end times. As a result of all of these factors, I offer to Christians and non-Christians alike what the Holy Spirit has led me to discern and subsequently reveal through reading, studying, and reaching out to my Christian brothers and sisters. This is an exciting time to be alive as we move ever closer to the rapture of the church or the bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25–32; Revelation 19:7–9 NKJV) and the subsequent beginning of the seven-year tribulation, the ending of which heralds the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Both Christians and non-Christians who are seeking to understand the exciting time in which we live have no further to look than to Jesus speaking to His disciples about the end times. Jesus spoke of many signs that would portend the coming end to the age of grace: wars and commotions; nations rising against nations, and kingdoms against kingdoms; great earthquakes in various places; famines and pestilences; fearful sights and great signs from heaven (Luke 21: 9–11).

This book will discuss the signs in the heavens, concentrating on the four blood moons, the solar eclipse, and the great sign in Revelation 12:1. Setting the stage is Chapter 1, which examines the spring and fall feasts. This discussion of the spring feasts and the day of Pentecost sets the foundation for prophetic fulfillment of the Lord’s fall feasts. This is not meant to be a comprehensive discussion of the feasts, but a simple and effective summary, showing Christ’s fulfillment of the spring feasts and leading to the idea that if Christ fulfilled the spring feasts, it is logical to believe that He will also fulfill the fall feasts.

Chapter 2 discusses the rapture of the Church, and Chapter 3 discusses the rapture of the church in context with the Feast of Trumpets. Chapter 4 explores the term twinkling of an eye, and Chapter 5 discusses the three previous blood moon tetrads in history and the upcoming tetrad (beginning on April 15, 2014) with regard to Jewish history and how they relate to present time. Chapter 6 explores the chronological nature of the book of Revelation. Chapter 7 discusses the great sign, the key to unlocking the biblical End Times, including the approximate timing of the rapture of the church (also known as the bride of Christ) and the dates of the tribulation period, respectively. Chapter 8 briefly examines the Mazzaroth detailing God’s redemptive plan for humankind in the heavens. Chapter 9 discusses Bible prophecy as it relates to Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection, looking forward to why God and His Son want us to know the timing of the rapture and Christ’s second coming. Chapter 10 puts all the pieces together. Chapter 11 discusses my responsibility as a Watchman on the Wall. Chapter 12 asks you, the reader, what do you do now that you know that Christ’s return is imminent. What should you do next, now that you are aware
