CHAPTER 1
The Great Alliance of Aroa
Our story takes us to the beginning of time. A time when a mysterious race known as the, Atlanteans, roamed the world we now know as Earth. It was a time of The Alliance. An alliance once existed between the world of Atlantis and the civilization of a distant star, called Nelfarie. These two allies were the first of four races in the universe. All was well, until war arose upon them. The two worlds of the alliance had been fueding constantly with a distant and relentless enemy, who called themselves, The Kriane, another one of the first four races. The Kriane people wanted The Alliance dead for their own personal reasons and would stop at nothing until their goal was achieved. The Kriane first struck the people of Nelfarie. There, they fought six gruesome wars. By the beginning of the seventh war, the Nelfarian Army had been crushed, battered, bloodied and beaten. There were hardly any warriors left to fight. While in warfare with Nelfarie, The Kriane dispatched another unit to attack the second half of the Alliance, Atlantis. The results there were nearly indentical to that of the Nelfarian massacre which was occurring millions of years away. The Atlanteans were no match for the Kriane onslaught. Their forces were also crushed. The Aroan Alliance knew the end was upon them. So, in one final attempt of desperation to save their worlds, both the people of Nelfarie and Atlantis created the The Stones of Phalan. They were four stones of mystical powers. The Stone of Water, The Stone of Light, The Stone of Time and The Stone of Life. Each of these stones harnesses there own unique power and purpose. The Alliance made a prophecy to all future generations that may one day utilize the stones power for protection. The prophecy read: "Whoever possesses one of these magical stones shall have a power greater than anything that ever existed. But whomever obtains all four of them will unleash a power beyond anything ever imagined. In order to access this deadly power, all four of the stones must be taken to The Great Temple of Aroa. Aroa was the first Queen of Nelfarie and the being who initiated Alliance with the great kings of Atlantis several years earlier. The Nelfarians knew that if they had any chance of winning this war and destroying The Kriane once and for all, they would have to do what the prophecy stated and unleash the ultimate power within of the stones. That meant releasing the most feared creatures in the universe, The Morodac. They were four terrible and destructive beasts larger than half the size of a civilization itself.
So, the seventh war of The Kriane invasion Beganed. On the second day, the stones were taken to The Great Temple of Aroa. During this time the Nelfarian Army had already been eliminated. Now, the Kriane turned their attention to the innocent. Families were being murdered and their homes were set ablaze and destroyed. Some still resisted the attack and fought with everything they had, but it was not enough. All four stones were placed into their designated slots on the Temple’s platform. In less than fifteen seconds, a rumble shook the entire star and the platform began to open like a secret doorway leading to a passage. Then a white beam shot out of the platform doorway and into outer space. The light went so high, the entire star of Nelfarie could see its magnificant glare. Then the tremors stopped and city went silent. It was the calm before the storm. Suddenly a loud screeching noise came from The Great Temple of Aroa. The Nelfarian citizens who placed the stones began to step back cautiously. Some of them ran away to safety. Then a monstrous roar, with the force of three thousand beasts, swept the star like a tidal wave. Then, crawling up from out of the temple’s platform was a giant white paw. After that, another crawled up. Suddenly, a gigantic tiger-like creature with tusks, lifted its enormous body out of the temple. The Kriane soldiers were in shock. They had never seen anything like what they were witnessing. Then another giant beast crawled out after the first one. Two more beasts followed.
The ultimate power . . .
said a Nelfarian man who stood in awe. The Kriane Army did not show fear as they kept their poise and stood ready for battle, but this was clearly a mismatch. The four beasts of the Morodac swept Nelfarie like a hurricane, killing and crushing the Kriane forces. In less than a minute, they had all been wiped out. The remaining survivors cheered and celebrated. They had won the war, finally. It was over. Queen Aroa stood before the Morodac and thanked them for saving her lands.
You are the great power,
Aroa said. You are strong and mighty and we thank you for preserving our race. How could we ever repay you?
One of the beast snarled at her and said, You will pay, with your lives.
Queen Aroa’s face sunk in disbelief by the response and she immediately started to panic. One of her men quickly ran towards the temple to pull out the stones, and he was killed. The Morodac ripped and ravaged Nelfarie killing at will until nothing was left. They had slaughtered the entire civilization including the Queen. The Alliance had been betrayed by the one power they believed would save them. The Morodac then engaged their second target, Atlantis. The Atlanteans had already seen enough bloodshed at the hands of the Kriane, who were also decimated. The Morodac turned their backs on the Atlanteans also and destroyed their city, leaving no survivors. The four monsters combined to create a shockwave that caused the entire city of Atlantis to sink underwater. Back at the land of Nelfarie, winds swept the quiet and deserted star. It seemed everyone was dead. Bodies filled the entire city.
But, while the Morodac was off terrorizing other worlds, a young Nelfarian boy lifted his head out of a secret underground shelter. He looked at all the motionless corpses and started to cry as his search for life ended in disappointment. His family was missing, and he had just witnessed a horrific sight. He was abandoned. The child continued to search the masses for anyone still breathing and stumbled upon a familiar face, his mother’s body.
Mother!
Mother, please! Please talk, please comeback," the boy hugged and held his mother’s lifeless body screaming in the Nelfarian language.
The boy’s screaming caused the beasts to return. Believing that they had killed everyone and that their mission was accomplished, The Morodac savaged the star once more looking for any remaining survivors. The boy quickly ran and hid inside a small underground storage facility. Frightened, frantic and traumatized, the young Nelfarian fell asleep. When he awakened, he peeked outside the storage room to see if it was clear. It was. The boy climbed out and started to look around. Then he saw it. Off in the distance on a hill, The Temple Of Aroa. Wounded and scared to death the boy picked up a Nelfarian military hammer that had been used by a fallen soldier, and made his way towards the Temple. As the boy walked, he could barely hold himself up. On the verge of death, the child finally reached the Temple. Gazing at the bright light, he struggled up the temple stairs. When boy reached the glowing platform, his body could take no more. He began stumble a bit and after awhile he passed out. But as he fell the boy grabbed one of the Stones Of Phalan that was already inserted in the platform. The stone began to heal the young boy. And in matter of seconds his health was completely replenished. He stood up and grabbed the hammer. He began spinning it around, and then smashed it against the platform, shattering every last part of it. The platform’s destruction brought forth a catastrophic reaction. The entire star began to tremble, harder and harder. The screams of the four beasts were loud and agonizing as they were being pulled back into the stones. Once the Morodac were imprisoned again the temple exploded. The impact was so strong the shockwave knocked the boy forty feet away. This young man, who was the last of his kind, laid motionless amongst the other bodies. The Stones of Phalan scattered and shot across the universe. Seperated and lost. Until the day when they are found, once again.
CHAPTER 2
The Origins of a Legendary Conflict
Two thousand years later, in the same galaxy, was a star-system named Z-28, and a world called Zatcasia. It was a silver colored and oval shaped planet circled by two moons. One of them was white, the other was blue. Zatcasia was a land of the most respected, heroic and fierce warriors in the universe.
In the great city of Landis, the capital of Zatcasia, the trees were also a silver color. At this time, the bright green leaves glistened like ocean ripples at sunset. The tree trunks crossed over each other in the shape of an x. Zatcasia was a wonderful and cheerful planet, until its people were informed of a great tragedy that had occurred on the other side of the star system. In the Blue Palace of Landis, the fourth King of Zatcasia, Halu, paced back and forth after receiving very disturbing news of treachery.
Are you sure about this Kimmin,
Halu said. This is shocking, shocking indeed.
Then, a Zatcasian watch scout entered the throne room where King Halu and his assistant soldier, Kimmin, were trying to piece together information.
It is confirmed your highness,
the scout said. Talias has been completely destroyed.
Completely?
King Halu replied. They couldn’t have.
There are no survivors,
The watchman said.
But who would do this,
Kimmin asked. Who would commit such a crime?
My watch scouts reported Defarian aircrafts departing the Talian atmosphere, Sire,
the scout replied.
King Halu became very angry. Not even the Defarians are capable of this, this genocide,
Halu said. "They are in direct violation of the Universal Code.
This is clearly an act of war, your majesty,
Kimmin said. Indeed,
the King replied. Then he paused for a moment and turned to his infant son, Aundias, who laid peacefully in his crib. Kimmin, I want you to assemble a secret council meeting.
Sir?! Perhaps we should do the opposite,
Kimmin said. As he tried to persuade the King towards a different method, Halu interrupted him.
Kimmin! Please don’t question it, do it,
the King said.
As you wish, Sire,
Kimmin replied.
Three days later, Halu, Kimmin and another assistant soldier named Dergon, all flew out from Zatcasia to the planet Grola to meet with the fellow Kings and Queens of Z-28. They were meeting to talk about the destruction of Talias at the hands of the Defarians. Sir Dergon and Kimmin are warriors of the King’s exclusive army called The Rabusin. Dergon was by far the oldest soldier serving in the unit and possibly the entire Zatcasian Military.
Across the star system, in the Eastern sector, called the Vinacle Region, there was a small red planet orbited by a mysterious black sun that stood distant and isolated. It was a world of unimaginable evil and arrogance called, Defaria. In the land of Defaria, day is like sunset because of the crimson colored mountains that reflect off the thick billowing clouds of toxic. Ten thousand year old canyons and ruins littered the aging planet. In the Defarian Kingdom city, Ango, they celebrated, cheered and chanted for victory. These
