For my mother. I carry your smile and love for life with me always. You are the best!
T here once was an
English bulldog who lived in America. She was a beautiful little puppy born on a warm summer day. The little bulldog was a beautiful tan and white puppy. She had the face of an angel with big brown eyes that were happy and full of life. She loved to play with her brothers and sisters. She had six of them. Every day the puppies would drink their milk then run around and play and play until they were so tired, they would all huddle together and fall asleep. Soon the little tan-and-white bulldog would go to live in her new home.
Miss Emily loved dogs. She already had two dogs at home but could not resist another when she saw the little bulldog. Miss Emily was there when she was only one week old. When she saw the little bulldog, she fell in love. Miss Emily would come to play with the little bulldog every Wednesday so that when she was old enough to go to her new home, she would feel comfortable and happy. Soon it was time to pick up the little bulldog, and Miss Emily was so excited. She was so happy that this day had finally arrived. Miss Emily wondered what she would name her. The baby bulldog had a very sweet face and the biggest brown eyes she had ever seen. Miss Emily wanted her to have a sweet name that matched her personality.

said Miss Emily, I shall call you Hannah. Little Hannah.
And Hannah it was. That day was such a happy day
