About this ebook

Henrietta the hen was born with what she thought was one of the best singing voices in the world. On a cold night she decided to escape but along the way she was met by a sneaky fox who befriended her. He persuaded her to sing to him and the rest of the foxes in the den. It was only when she got to the den and overheard a baby fox say shed be eaten for dinner that Henrietta started to panic. Shed have to sing her way back to freedom if she were to escape her destiny of being dinner for the den.

Bernadette Sampson

My name is Bernadette Sampson and for over a decade I have been working in the television company RTE on reception and hospitality. I also practice holistic therapies and at present I’m studying for a degree in Health Science. I published the first part of Henrietta last year and now Henrietta is on her adventures again and this time forming a band. I hope to have book three of Henrietta out by the middle of 2015 and the book ‘Santa’s on a budget’ by the end of 2015. Most of my books are about animals overcoming adversaries or children overcoming adversaries and most of them have humour running through them so they will be enjoyable for the adult to read as well as for the children to enjoy.
