Rebecca Luttrell Briley has a PhD in English and drama from the University of Kentucky and has lived and taught all over the world. A published author of many titles, both creative and academic, she teaches creative writing and serves as the coordinator for the English Department at Midway University in Kentucky. Her Birman cat Gatsby accompanied her on many world travels, and his adventures are retold in several stories, like “Gatsby’s Christmas Surprise.” After his crossing over the rainbow bridge, she has since adopted four more cats and is unashamed to be called a crazy cat lady.
