About this ebook
How did a humble, quiet man, whose formal education ended with the sixth grade, and who did not marry until he was forty years of age, make an indelible impression on the lives of thousands of individuals over the span of thirty-six years? By working 108 hours every two weeks as an orderly in a city-owned hospital, the name J. Chandler Carlson came to be well-known. And, more than known, he was as much loved as he was respected by patients and fellow staff alike.
Daniel J. Carlson
Serving as a pastor in New England over a span of four decades, one observes the intricacies of human development and attributes as they influence vocation. Accustomed to observing and working with people, Daniel J. Carlson reflects on the life of his father, a humble, caring man who, while having lived much in contrast to several globally known individuals also from the same city in western New York state, nonetheless gracefully touched the lives of thousands of his contemporaries. The author and his wife, Faith, reside at John Knox Village of Central Florida located in Orange City. The building here shown is as it appeared circa 1935.
