    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

F irst and Foremost I would like to give thanks and honor to God for this opportunity. And through all my trials and tribulations.

My most defining thing in is being the best I can be. Be a silver bullet shooting off to greatness. Being a help to someone even if I need help myself. Being a conqueror of all burdens in my life.

Being somewhat of a blessing to someone.

I would like to give thanks to Ms. Lorie Adams my Author Services Representative. And the Xlibris Team and staff for their patience and dedication with helping me on through this manuscript.

I would like to give a special thanks to those how help support me through this process. My lovely and beautiful wife and soon to be Ms. Calina A. Hinds. The most wonderful and amazing woman in the world, my beautiful Mother Drunita M. Hampton. My Big Bro and the best brother of all whom I’m very proud of Billy H. Grady aka Da Black Seed and his family. My two Handsome boys Joseph R. Grady Jr. and Jeremiah I. Grady my biggest inspiration. And my Dearly Beloved Sister, God rest her soul Savannah Joy Grady Hayes 1984-2007.

This is actually my first public novel to say the least. I been writing all my life. Mostly music and then gradually taking other approaches. Creativity is one of the unique traits I was blessed with. Being poor is the other. Not sure if that is a blessing but it actually made me who I am today. I guess when you have nothing to do you have a great sense of imagination. So I guess if a blessing after all, underneath the dirt.

God Bless those and thanks to whom I didn’t mentioned.

    CHAPTER ONE

    The Bar

    Detroit, Michigan

A nother Jell-O shot please! I yelled across the bar counter to the hot brunette serving drinks. The one I’ve been trying to picture naked all night if I may have to rephrase. I figure another shot or two may just might enhance that imagination. Her name was Shelly and I knew so by the name-tag on the left strap on her sports bra. By this time I could hardly read it, I was on my 7 th or 8 th shot of Peach-Tail Vodka but I could still capture her smile. Her long straight hair that swifts from side to side which in fact reminded me of my x wife in a way. Your drink Sir her beautiful light brown eyes locked with mine for a very brief moment. You know if you have another I just might have to carry you home. She joked. "I’m sure wouldn’t have a complaint " I thought. She turns away her attention focusing on the bottles of drinks on the shelf behind her. I downed the shot and sit the glass right beside the collection I had made. Suddenly I feel a gentle tab on the right shoulder. I quickly turned and notice a tall 6ft long-legged goddess, even lovelier then the bar tender. Before I could slip a word out hey sexy can you buy me a drink? she question’s without hesitation. Startled by her introduction I paused then stared into her dreamy deceitful green eyes. Looks like you had enough I then respond after catching a wift of alcohol on her breath. It will be enough after just one more she insists inviting herself to a stool. Apple Martini double the lady calls out. Coming right up says Shelly. Did you say double, Ms. one more drink is enough She smiles at my humor then pulls out a long Box of Virginia slim cigarettes. She takes a long drag from her cigarette then peeks over her shoulder at me I’m Diana, Diana Webster She reaches out to shake my hand. Pretty impressed by her total reverse in character I reach out to complete the hand-shake I’m Marcus, Marcus Anderson. It’s a pleasure she says, now facing her whole body in my direction. What’s a fine man like you doing at a bar all alone? Actually I didn’t even know the answer my self. I was married once and made a path with myself never to experience that trauma again. Her name was Elizabeth L. Turner/Anderson.

She was Caucasian, American. In her hometown they didn’t take to kindly for interracial marriages. Although I was very fair skin I was still black. I don’t know bored I guess I said, saying the quickest thing to mind. Ma’am here’s your apple martini cutting in – Shelly smiles at the both of us as if we where newly weds. Diana downs both glasses without even coming up for air. Ahhh refreshing! You’d better slow down sugar the nights still young I insisted. I’m a big girl, I can handle it she says cocky-like. So what your wife thinks of you being in a bar at this time of night. She says in total sarcasm. I couldn’t help but to smile, I never felt a certain interest from a woman not even my x-wife. Well we divorced a couple months back. O’ sorry, it must have been a rough time for you Her caress eyes searched mine own for an explanation. Actually that was probably the smartest thing I’ve done in our marriage I replied holding down my head away from her seductive, hepatizing green eyes.

Don’t blame you for it, everyone not made for everybody she says in confidence trying to cheer me up. You look terrible, why don’t I buy you a drink instead?

"Thanks but, no thanks I’d better get going. I had a long day.

Well maybe you should come back to my place. In shock, I had thought for a moment then eventually my hormones and the alcohol had caught up to me. The funny thing was I didn’t know this woman from a can of paint but I liked her. I felt I’ve known her forever, and I could share with her anything. Well I do have a crappy apartment, and I’m certain your place would be far more sophisticated. She smiles in intent she indeed loved my answer. Follow me she took my hand and we both stood together. Momentarily I realized she was a bit taller than I, of course it didn’t seem to bother me. I loved watching her long sexy caramel legs lead the way. Honestly I didn’t even know if she was taking me to hell and back, but for some odd reason I trusted her. A sense of complete comfort that sealed my soul and her hands felt soft as cotton. We finally made it through the crowd and out the front door.

The night sky was filled with stars and the moon stood out almost as if I could reach up a touch it. The sky was beautiful and I loved the atmosphere. A strong breeze blew over us as we walked to her vehicle. She cuddles in my arms securing warmth, Just as we arrive to her 2013 lime-colored impala. Fresh white walls around the tires, all white interior, gold rims, the windows and mirrors was sparkling clean, and a hood ornament of a golden naked women. The car was amazing and I would have to say: way out my class of style, or maybe just too much class of style for me. A double beep sound signals off unlocking the doors of her vehicle and ending my tour of this fabulous peace off medal on wheels. Well aren’t you going to get in? she questions, sliding inside her car and starting it. Well sure I said still wondering if I’m dreaming. I buckle my seat belt and lit a cigarette. My God your car is amazing. Thanks without even glancing over at me; she puts the stick in drive and her feet to the pedal, storming off like a bat out of hell into the foggy darkness. The only lights were the headlights on her car. She’s occasionally swerves’ alone the way. I admit we both had been drinking and heavily under the influence. Diana cracks the windows just a little bit allowing the cold crisp Detroit winds to travel inside with us, the cold tingly chills from the night’s air felt dangerously but good. I flicked the butt of my cigarette out the window watching it disappear into the darkness. Diana reaches her right hand to the glove department, while her left controlling the wheel. She clinches on to a C.D. case from the department and slides the disc into her player. How about some Keith sweat she says and giggles softly to herself. Before I could answer the music starts to play, busting through her 12 inch custom speakers. Keith sweat’s Mary-go-round, she immediately starts to sing along word for word. Not long before I join in. We sung ourselves the rest of the way. Just in moments we were arriving up on the hill side right before the river. Diana slowed down and parked. Why are we stopping here? I asked puzzled. Saying nothing she lights another one of her long vagina slim cigarettes. Well hello I pledge dying for an answer. She then raise her head, turn to me and spoke. Relax silly no one’s out here but me and you her eye’s piercing deep into mine. I’m just taking a little pit stop you know what I mean. Actually Diana I don’t think I know what you mean. She begins to giggle again this time a little louder. What are you saying Marcus you don’t trust me? Well I… I… just meet you and I… before I could say another she climbs on top of me Well I was planning on screwing your brains out till the horizon falls by the river. I was speechless and unaware I was allowing her to invaded soft wet kisses to my neck.

Her tongue traveling up to my ear turning on senses I never knew I had. Her hands begin slowly unbuttoning my shirt. Let’s make love in moonlight baby she whispers softly into my ear. At this point she knew she had me and honestly there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it, so I gave in.

The pace has now skipped up a bit. Were all over each other wrestling out our clothes

The moans of ecstasy echoing through the trees and over the hillside the clouds started

To form together in the sky we made our way on top of the hood on the car. Her back against the hood and her long beautiful Carmel legs spread open welcoming my entrance. I take a moment to stare at how beautiful she really was. Her uniquely arch eye brow and lashes and her hazel like green eyes staring back at mine. Almost if I could lose myself in her eyes take me she whispered as I penetrated my love inside her. Suddenly a rain drop from the sky landing directly on my shoulder then rolling down my back deeper she moan. Every inch felt like a little bit of heaven. A few more rain drop fell from the sky, this time it was enough to realize it was about to rain. Only for Diana who completely ignored the signs Keep going baby, don’t stop. Back and forth, forth and back till her walls release climax. Moments after the rain pick up even more and before you knew it we were both soaked and dripping wet. She uses aggression pushing me off her and forcing her way on top. She was very dominating and had rapid sexual-type energy. Now with her in control I just sat back and enjoyed the ride.

    CHAPTER TWO

    The horizon

T he sound of birds chirping and the river’s currents rushing down-stream awoke me from my drunken hibernation. The leaves brushing across the gravel which we were parked buy I quickly notice it was no car and to be exact no her ether. Man isn’t this some I held in trying to keep from cursing. Diana was gone without a trace. In fact I don’t believe she left a tire mark. All around me was trees and waters. I forced my half drunken self to my feet; I open my eyes wider now realizing the beautiful horizon has just settling in but no Diana. Maybe she went to get breakfast I thought, but why did she leave without saying a word. I still was fairly drunk and honestly lost for words and a clue on were the hell I was. I sit there for a minute trying to put things together but I just couldn’t get why she would leave. My chains of thoughts had completely run its core. I then notice the trail which we came in. I quickly begin to follow. About a quarter mile in I started to realize this trail was smaller then I remembered. I made my down the hillside and notice a small run-down looking service station just north over the river

I was hung-over and starved, I needed to eat and quick. I made it up to the entry then check to make sure my wallet was still in place. Bravo Right in the very same pocket I left it. Well at lease now I knew her intension wasn’t on robbing me blind. I glance around the lot to see if I’d notice the lime impala. I made my way inside and the fresh smell of morning biscuits stood the hairs in my nostrils. From the outside view of the place you would think the inside would be in terrible shape as well. The items were freshly stocked and well organized. The floor’s fresh scent seeming almost as if the floors were just mopped. I looked around, kind of like I was searching for clues, clues that can led me in her direction. how can I help you sport? a smooth-like shallow voice from the resister brakes into the air. I looked up and notice a older but taller fellow around 6ft tall in height, very slim and wore the thickest black shades you could ever see. Yea sure um… I was looking for women. A woman, what woman? the man questions in consideration. Well she’s about your complexion in skin color but with a Carmel bend, weight about 145 long curly sandy brown hair, hazel green eyes, and about your height actually. nope I’m afraid not kiddo the man replied I can’t see at all he turned his attention on some un-open marked boxes possibly supplies, he reaches and pulls out a small gray box cutter from his pocket and begins cutting open the boxes. Looks like you could use some help around here. I teased. Suddenly an elderly women around his age 40 or 50 appears from a small office room left over the resister. Well good morning stranger she speaks. Her voice was straggly and had very high pitched. Hello I respond, glazing over the strange wool-like apron she wore. She was short maybe 5'2 and heavy set. She wore glasses and I notice a long hideous scar above her left eye. She was indeed kind of weird but appeared to be kind just like the man behind the register. I was now convinced they had to be a couple. How can we help you stranger? the women asked. The tall slim guy cuts in this o’ boy here is looking for a woman said the man. He had light brown skin tone and so did the old lady. Oh well we haven’t had a customer here in ages she laughs. well from the looks of it, this is the only service station around, she had to at least stop to get gas, chips or… . a coke. I replied in a more serious manner. Well Hun if someone came in, I’m sure we would of notice said the lady with a sincere smile. The man continues removing store items from the boxes onto shelves. That’s strange I thought, using my eyes checking out the store. It was very small maybe 15 feet length and width. The wall paper had a dingy texture as if it had decade over time. How could you guys keep up such a business with little or no customers I asked curiously. Well darling
