    Rattle!

………My fool’s gold tooth crooked smile,

    And nocturnal wiles,

    And nefarious guiles,

Shut down the actions of the deplorable strange

Men and women that surround me inside these prism walls these

    Strange days

And strangle my soul till near exasperation.

I need NOT a social media pity LIKE

Or a mercy post asking ‘AM I OK?’

Nor a congratulation hand shake out here in the real world.

You suffer with me and to that I thank you and speak out for us all!

My intentions are to get your

    And give back your attentions.

    To stand at attention.

And to glory in it…Revel in it…Like the feeble constructions we are.

    One More Time

                               One more time

                               Let’s see if this fits.

                               My poems aint about you,

                               You narcissistic shit.

                               They’re my musings,

                               My peccadillos,

                               My life’s little contradictions.

                               So how dare you declare!

                               My poems must have restrictions!

I don’t do it for applause,

                               Nor for your complaints.

It’s all You You You hey.

                               A poet cannot have restraints.

I aint a prophet for profit.

                               Or your damn sage.

                               If you don’t like,

                               What I write.

Then don’t read what’s on the page.

Now as you sit now & ponder.
