I was born in the village named Mala in the state of Kerala, India in February 1963. I did my Master of Arts in English in Vimala College, Thrissur (Dt), Kerala. I completed my M. Phil. in English from St. Joseph’s College Thiruchirappally, Tamilnadu, India. I have a Ph. D. in English from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam , Kerala. Currently I am an Associate Professor of English in Newman College, Thodupuzha, Kerala.

    He was indecent and irritating.

    He came unannounced

    Entered our chamber never

    Pausing to knock or wait.

    So, being civil, I came out

    And waited for him to leave.
