Preface
The words that follow rhyme rhythm reason are notes in the
Symphony of my life. Write what is out of heart in the moment.
Surmised unasked questions are unanswered and leave thoughts imprisoned. Searched the blend between fact fiction fantasy some call written history for the ages. Realized the theme of these pages is existential. There is no world if you do not embrace it. How can one swim without water breath without air think without consciousness?

Chapter I
Dawn of Time
Life can only be understood backwards,
But it must be lived forwards.
— Soren Kierkegaard
The Alone Man
Since that instant of birth out of the womb unattached
Breathing earth air the first time happily crying I am alive
Roll over crawl on hands and knees moving up stand walk
In your habited space occupied one step at a time aftertime
Going forward backward dancing tripping running the race
Pause and realize consciousness of self being
Think only what one mind has in thought awake sleeping
Learn at own unique rate of retention loss in between
Existential individual story of a single life on skewed lines
Private travels in air on land out to sea blindly with insight
Personal journey from humble beginning illusion in progress
Face in the mirror reflection you one to see blink wink nod
Has tear of happiness laughter resounding around in air
Heart elevated into weightlessness parachute floating
Tis with great sorrow the destiny of life is for all over
Known spirit is the last spark one has to the end
Some ebb and tide others fly on a breeze
We all are a breath away from unconsciousness
Silent path forest green fern mossy carpet canopy turquoise sky
Cardinal across rill echoing into the breeze a song to another
Ushering in a faint sound of waterfall trickle over the hill
Moving among the sun made shadows bright to dark
Bringing to sight visual images of ink blots waving
Alive living tree canopy of leaves overhead under foot
Animated beings surrounding encompassing embracing man
Sensing primordial presence as an unseen motion aura karma
By my side with each stride the memories flashing light bulbs
Say please stay and be one of us all forever never was to be
A bond forged before dawn of time…life is death-death life
Alone man lives life inside their alpha and omega
Vanished Cemetery Revisited
Alone man walks touches talks among the future dead
Going to destinations one foot confronting ground at a time
Pulling perpendicularly transverse to gravity of earths mass
Anticipating next step unconsciously learned from youth
Breathing in out along path ways of your living journey
Open eyes watching the canvas of continuous vision unravel
Scroll colored carpetry like a TV image with great detail
Do we live behind the masks or does the façade take over
So we fake who we are on purpose to others with false feelings
Unrevealed by talk inflection action reaction demeanor face
Realize hide to conceal sins of the heart gone unnoticed
Form of menagerie caricature on merry-go-round ride
Deep inside buried from light just a complex soul vagabond
Methinks walking thru head stones where have they all gone
None came back cept in deep sleep dreams awake thoughts
Understand destiny will join others when it is time
Must make each moment something to enjoy as much as can
Blood from vena cava into auricle ventricle lung back to heart
Beat unending until the last contraction pulse systolic
Timing is most everything and I am only now
Alone man lives from beginning with only self
Life is totality of human lived experiences
Found key to happiness during living existence
Came to know compassion for others is virtuous
Being kind to less fortunate a gift of heart
The strongest man in the world is
he who stands most alone.
Henrik Ibsen
Unflinchingly
Scythe handle raps at the door
Not time for crescendo or go Erato
Flamenco enjoyed with tequila
Ballet wine aurora australis awe
The way we were is not now
Experience moment to moment passing
Continuous river ever flowing
Desert ocean rippling waves of sand
Everyone is left behind at a point
The rest evolve in to future
Nothing written true before happening
Omen in minds of superstitious
There is no constancy to apparition
Some want to rule the world
Bottom feeder end up where they are
Not all change one way or another
People born with tiger stripes
Bigger smaller bigoted compassionate
Listen to inner voice width breath
Follow that which you feel in heart
Existence on earth irrelevant
Survival to the last all that’s left
Wan-a-do reject eject cerebral flight
Hoped to stop ship would not
Happy days are that for just one or many
Children do not know what reality is
Into the valley shadow not to reason why
‘Great Expectation’ poor orphan stays alive
To remember forget not a choice gone
It was once a cabaret youth
Cant make one want others
Lance in heart leaves scars inside out
Long ago tune evokes passion memories
Orange ember branded deep into core
Transcendental aura pervade ethereal
