Debbie Hone Sowers

Debbie Hone Sowers wrote short children’s stories for a newspaper in Pekin, Illinois, for several years, basing her stories on the adventures of her childhood and those of her children. She grew up in a small town in Central Illinois with her parents, Linda Hone and the late Jim Hone, and one brother, Danny Hone. Debbie Sowers has three children, Jennifer, Jeremy, and Jessica and, at the time of this publishing, seven grandchildren: Skylie, Jamison, Sarah, Trevor, Caleb, Daigan, and Xander. Debbie received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Harrison College, Terre Haute, Indiana, in 2013.
