About this ebook

Based exclusively on the biblical verses, the book Modern Technology and Sciences in the Bible reveals outstanding facts that modern discoveries are actually a rediscovery of remote ancient knowledge practically in all major fields of technology and sciences.
Each biblical quotation on these subjects has been analyzed, comparing them with modern knowledge in technology, astronomy, cosmology, physics, geology, biology, medicine, and metaphysical philosophy.
It proves that this high level of knowledge actually belonged to a sophisticated prehistoric civilization. It also conclude that original unknown biblical texts are just pieces of vanished records left behind by an advance society of aliens (biblical gods) that visited and settled on the earth before our time.
The book is supported by an appendix, which includes glossary, glossary of persons, geographical glossary, measurements, bibliography, and maps.

    Part I

    Introduction

    Preface

There is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret.

    (Jesus’ words) Mk. 4:22

If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

(Jesus’ words) Mk. 4:23, cf. Matt. 11:15

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light.

    (Jesus’ words) Lk. 12:2-3

Etymology: Greek techne (art, skill, craft, or the way, manner) + logos (word).

Definition: words or discourse about the way things are gained.

    __________

Etymology: Latin scientia (knowledge). Related to scindere (to cut, divide, to distinguish/separate one thing from another).

Definition: a systematic study that builds and organizes knowledge of different topics, based on observation, experiment, measurement, and the formulation of laws of nature.

    __________

Long ago and far away, beyond the mists of time, hidden within our memories, lies the truth of our origin. Through the millennia the events became legends (stories), legends became myths (legends with religious aspect), and myths became the Bible (historical records).

In order to exhume the truths, we must face our fears and challenge our beliefs. Through religious fanaticism the long-held believes of our forefathers has been the source of hatred, persecution, and death of millions of people over the last few thousand years.

Present-day people are becoming more intelligent, open-minded, and inquisitive than centuries back. Along with the comprehensive rapid discoveries in technology and sciences, this generation uniquely qualifies with the ability to understand the veiled truths in the Bible that have remained shrouded in mystery for so long.

This book is not intended to be offensive or destroy anyone’s belief in True God or our elder brother Jesus the Christ. On the contrary, not only it is our intent to clear up many mysteries and misconceptions about the origin of the human race, but to make clear who our creators really were, the difference between them and the True God, and how this misinterpretation happened. To do this, we will use one of the collections of myths — the biblical scriptures and other sources — and the recent technological and scientific discoveries.

We believe that Daniel’s statement that in the last days knowledge shall be increased (Dan. 12:4) does not mean the increase in knowledge of our amazing progress in science, technology, and engineering. We believe it means more complete and correct knowledge about True God, who we are, and where we came from:

. . . you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

    (Jesus’ words [Jn. 8:32] ).

We shall keep in mind that biblical texts were written two thousand to three thousand years ago by ancient men, who had not any concept of technology and sciences similar to modern. We have to admit that with their archaic understanding and limited vocabulary, they gave quite good descriptions, which from modern space-age prospective, we can visualize the extraterrestrial visitors and their advance level of knowledge, which were far beyond the ability of ancient human societies and which did not originate on our planet.

It was proven by archaeologists that the Bible in most cases possesses historical accuracy. If so, we should take for granted its descriptions of gods’ technology and sciences.

The modern life, in the presence of the space age, distinguishes our mind from ancient man’s. The daily use of modern technology and vast information in all fields of sciences gives us ability from a different point of view to see facts, actions, and things, described in the Bible thousands of years ago. That what was understood yesterday as a miracle, supernatural power, presence of beasts, glorified lights, objects in heaven, etc., can have a very simple explanation today.

We fly in the sky; we move under water; we have landed on other planets. We X-ray the human body and the continent of Antarctica under its thick ice cap and figure out its shape. We can replace the organs in our bodies and make duplicates of living creatures by cloning. We can make all machinery appear alive, taking our orders and programs manually or by remote control systems. We are able to speak over thousands of miles and transmit pictures and news globally in a few minutes. We light the nights and warm the air without wood or coal. We can heal with herbs, medicines, and surgery. We can kill thousands at once and destroy ourselves and the earth as well.

Leeuwenhoek’s invention of the microscope in 1776; the invention of the electron microscope in 1931 by German physicist Ernst Ruska; projecting shockwaves of sonar equipment for scanning the ocean’s floors; submersible capsules, which can reach the depths of up to 6 km [4 mi] to unravel the mysteries of the ocean; the world’s largest radio telescope and space, Hubble telescope; the invention of sonogram, which creates a picture of baby while it is in the uterus — these and countless other instruments help to uncover the universe’s and life’s secrets that would be impossible for the unaided human mind to know.

The question is, what instruments ancients had in their possession to make astonishing discoveries? Next to none, otherwise the Bible would mention them, at least in some cases; but not a word about these incredible tools — just naked, very advance scientific facts.

That leads us to conclusion that scriptures are based on unknown original text belonging to a vanished civilization.

We should pay attention to the fact that because the biblical authors frequently misunderstood the original text, all biblical verses on scientific subjects are very short.

We were able to decode their meaning because of recent development in modern technology and sciences.

This book is presented without prejudice from any religious viewpoints.

It will take the reader through each biblical chapter from a space age viewpoint referring to hundreds of the biblical quotations.

Let us start our tour through the biblical texts and see how the historical facts, which were recorded there, can be interpreted.

    Notes:

    *   All biblical quotations are taken from King James Version, unless otherwise noted.

    Short History of the Bible

    Bible

Etymology: The English word Bible, as a collection of individual books and scrolls, derived from Greek’s byblos (document written on papyrus). Several sheets of papyrus put together were called biblion.

Definition: The Christian Bible is the sacred book of Christianity. It combines thirty-nine books of the Old Testament and twenty-seven books New Testament. The order and contents of the Bible are varying among denominations.

    __________

The name of Holy Book was derived from the name of Phoenician port Byblos (also known as Gebal or Gubla in Greek, modern Jbeil or Jbail, northwest Lebanon).

The fact that the word papyrus bears a Greek name indicates that Egyptian papyrus was imported into Greece not directly from Egypt (where the plant, native to the country, grows) but from a Greek colony in Gebal/Byblos. The city was dedicated to a great goddess — Lady of Byblos, Baalat, or Baalat — which is not properly a name but a title, meaning Mistress, Lady, or Queen. She is associated with Ba’al or Ba’al-Shaman, Lord of the Heavens, as his consort and cult partner, and most likely a form of Ashtart,¹ the Canaanite goddess of love, fertility and the planet Venus, whose cult is known to have been centered in Gubla. A papyrus was one of her five symbols.

Papyrus, as a material for writing, was later replaced by scrolls made from the skin of a sheep or goat. About 320 AD, the scriptures took the form of a book. The Christian scripture was referred to Ta Biblia (little papyrus books) as early as circa 223 AD.

It is interesting to note that the name of Holy Book of Christianity, Bible, originated in pagan religion.

According to Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, the etymology of term religion is derived from Latin religio (taboo, restrain). The word also can be traced to a prefix re (return) and lig-are/religare (to bind, to fasten, to restrain, to wrap with bandage, to make prisoner), i.e., return to bondage. In other words, a religion limits the freedom of thinking, knowledge, and action. Also, the presence of the prefix re can be referred to return to mythological legends, which proceeded the Bible.

    __________

We do not have any of the original texts that have been included in the Bible. They have been lost, and all we have now are copies of copies that suffer from accidental or deliberate errors and omissions.

The scriptures — particularly the Old Testament, which covers the period beginning approximately in sixteenth/twelfth century BC — were not written or dictated by True God or Christ as it is commonly believed (2 Tim. 3:16, Jn. 6:45), or completed in Jesus’ lifetime. More likely, they are bits and pieces of ancient remote and unknown texts written by the gods — aliens.

The biblical manuscripts were written by more than forty writers from different regions, countries, and cultures in four different languages (Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek, and Latin) on papyrus, leather, clay tablets, and parchments over a period of two to three thousand years, counting from the first five books of Moses, whose authority is in question itself.

The original text of scriptures somehow came into the possession of biblical writers and was later freely combined together, interpreted, and edited by early Church Fathers and church Councils in their own way depending on their intellectual level, their religious viewpoint, and understanding.

Also, the Bible was not written by most of its assumed original authors. It is essentially anonymous. Most of the books of the Bible are pseudepigraphical.²

The Christians have been taught that Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, called Pentateuch, which is often referred to Torah. Outside of the more conservative seminaries and churches, it is commonly held that Moses did not write these books, that they are a compilation of works by numerous writers over an extended period of time. Archaeological excavations, linguistic analyses, and comparative studies of biblical books led to a conclusion that the Pentateuch is a hybrid document that was written after Moses’ death and much later than the events took place. Besides, Moses could not write his own epitaph: Moses . . . died there in the land of Moab (Deut. 34:5).

Not too many people realize that John the Evangelist (the assumed author of the fourth gospel of the New Testament) did not know Jesus and wrote the gospel (if he really did) at least generation after Jesus’ crucifixion. Most scholars regard the Gospel of Saint John as anonymous and date it to 69 AD while Jesus was crucified in about 33 AD.

According to Andrew Morton’s computer analysis (stylometry)³, only letters (epistles) of First and Second Corinthians, Galatians, Philemon, and Romans could be written by Paul, assuming that the remaining nine⁴ were written in the name of Paul by unknown persons.

Circa 190 AD. A church father, Irenaeus, selected for the New Testament twenty books from among forty or more gospels.

    367. The bishop of Alexandria (north Egypt), Athanasius of Alexandria, was the first person who named twenty-seven books of the New Testament.

    382. Pope Damasus I commissioned a Catholic priest, Saint Jerome, to revise the old Latin version of the Bible. Jerome’s revision, called Vulgate (Versio VulgataCommonly Used Translation), became officially proclaimed as Latin version of the Bible.

1546. The Council of Trent (northeast Italy) added seven deuterocanonical books⁵ to the Bible.

1611. Under the supervision of King of England, James I, the Bible in English (KJV) was published for the use of the clergy and the church members only! It contained eighty books including fourteen books of Apocrypha. The Old Testament was translated from Hebrew text; the New Testament, from Greek; and Apocrypha, from Greek and Latin.

1672. The Book of Revelation was finally accepted by the Synod of Jerusalem (central Israel).

1885. The archbishop of Canterbury (southeast England), Edward Benson, officially removed Apocryphal books (except Daniel 13) from KJV, leaving only sixty-six books, which are now called the Authorized King James Version or King James Revised Version.

So our complete Catholic Bible is ONLY

    approximately 125 years old.

For two thousand years, the Christian Bible consisted of the sacred books of the Jews and copied from ancient unknown manuscripts by Masoretes, called Masoretic Texts or Jewish Bible (Hebrew canon — three hundred manuscripts); it was most commonly associated with the Old Testament. The Masoretic Texts were written in all capital letters with no punctuation or paragraph separations, which can cause tremendous mistakes in interpretations. For instance:

Authorized Personnel Only! No Visitors Allowed.

If we will change the punctuation, the meaning can be very different:

Authorized Personnel Only? No! Visitors Allowed!

Based on this example, we can guess what differences can be in translations in addition to the various meanings of most of used words and the archaic language that are sometimes hard to understand.

There were over 5,500 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament alone! There is a total of (in round numbers) 845,000 words in the Bible! That amounts could lead to a variant reading caused by spelling, word arrangement, the sentence structure, or omissions.

There are more than one hundred modern versions and more than two thousand discrepancies⁶ in KJV, only.

The discrepancies found in the Bible could relate not only to the absence of original texts and multitranslations but also to religious orientation of the interpreters and intentional expulsions of certain parts.

The modern publications try to correct the errors, but they are still very far from being perfect because of the absence of original texts.

The production and distribution of bibles 1804 began by Bible societies. In 1844, Pope, Gregory XVI, condemned the publication, dissemination, reading, and possession of vernacular translations of sacred Scriptures (encyclical Inter PraecipuasOn Biblical Societies)

Proclaimed as holy, inspired by God, a guide to righteousness for common man, the Bible was forbidden to be translated or read by a layman until midnineteenth century under the threat to be prosecuted by Holy Inquisition!

    Part II

    Technology

    Close Encounters

    Was it a Miracle?

Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature.

    Saint Augustine

Impossible! This is not French word.

    Napoleon Bonaparte

At first, let us try to figure out how many Israelites left Egypt.

. . . thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years (Gen. 15:13).

. . . the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years (Ex. 12:40-41).

. . . the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, besides children (Ex. 12:37).

The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand [600 elef] footmen (Num. 11:21).

After approximately 400 years (430 in Galatians 3:17) of slavery in Egypt, Israelites left free from the country.

The quotation about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children . . . could also be translated as about six hundred eleph [elef] on foot are the warriors apart from the women, children, and elders.

According to the Bible — women are not mentioned, but we must add another 600,000 (assuming an equal number of women) plus an unknown number of children. If we will guess 2 children per family, which is probably conservative estimate, we can add all together and come to the number of 2.4 million (600,000 [men] + 600,000 [women] + 1,200 [children] = 2,400,000). Families at that time were usually quite larger, more than 4 children per family. If we will increase the number of children from 2 to 4 per family, the total number of Israelites will be about 5 to 7 million people. This number is questionable — actually, is impossible to accept — it is estimated that the whole population of Egypt at the time of the exodus was between 2 and 5 million.

The Hebrew world eleph (elef) means a thousand and chief, clan, family, group, or unit.

We do not know how many people were in one unit, probably 10-12 armed men. Then a number of footmen, 600 eleph (not 600,000), was approximately 6,000-7,200 armed men + 6,000-7,200 women + 2,400 children + about 2,000 old people = about 17,000 men, women, children, and old ones.

If we also assume that eleph means chief (head of the family), then the family unit (translated as a family in Judges 6:15 and 1 Samuel 10:19) included a wife, 4 children, and probably 2 elderly. 600 chiefs + 600 wives + 2,400 children + 1,200 old ones = about 5,000 men, women, children, and old ones. That is more likely.

We also have to add many non-Israelite Egyptian refugees and livestock — "a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle" (Ex. 12:38).

    __________

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord.

    Isa. 13:5

The angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation.

    Jude 1:6

The Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

    Matt. 18:11

Before we will go for description of advance technology, which existed at least four thousand years ago, we would like to make a short refer to biblical verses that identify those to whom this technology might belong.

Every single tradition or culture has in its heritage documented records of extraterrestrials, angels, and gods. They look like human beings (Gen. 18:19; Acts 14:11); but they can levitate, read the mind, teleport from one place to another, manifest objects out of thin air, and create. They had an ability that makes us consider them as godlike beings.

    Genesis

. . . God [Elohim — plural] said, Let us [plural] make man in our [plural] image, after our likeness . . . (1:26).

     . . . ye shall be as gods . . . (3:5).

. . . the man is become as one of us (3:22).

     . . . let us [plural] go down, and . . . confound their language (11:7).

     . . . Abram said, Lord [Adonai — plural] God, what wilt thou give me . . . (15:2).

    Psalms

     . . . O ye mighty [Eliym/Elim — plural], give unto the Lord glory and strength (29:1).

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty he judgeth among the gods (82:1).

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord [Eliym/Elim — plural]? (89:6).

. . . your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords (Deut. 10:17).

The Lord God of gods . . . (Josh. 22:22).

. . . These are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues . . .

    (1 Sam. 4:8).

. . . the voice of the Lord, saying . . . who will go for us? (Isa. 6:8).

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord . . .

    (Isa. 13:5).

The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men (Acts 14:11).

Throughout the Old Testament, God’s names appear in plural forms.

In Hebrew, the names Elohim, Adonai and Eliym/Elim — translated as a singular God, Lord or Mighty — are the plural forms of Eloh (elo [god] + im [the Hebrew plural masculine]); Adon (Lord, master); and El (Gods or the Mighty Ones), respectively.

God landed on Earth together with his own group of beings as a ruler over them. His name is not only used in plural forms, implying that there were different persons through the years, but also the verse (Isa. 13:5) emphasizes that he came from a far country, from the end of heaven (some distance planet?). It is absolutely impossible for True God to have his own home country; He is infinite Omnipresent, i.e., exists everywhere at once.

We will discuss later in details who and what angels were (see Personnel, Angels), but here we would like to stress that the sentence in Deut. 10:17 shows the subordination between God and his comrades, who also are called gods and lords, but their names spelled by lowercase letters.

The verse Heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them (Gen. 2:1), which is frequently interpreted by scholars as a referral to angels, means creation of universe, which included celestial bodies (host). We will see later that because of the simplicity of language, the same words (such as heaven, firmament, host, cloud, cherubim, etc.) through the Bible have different meanings depending on the content.

    __________

According to the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh, well interpreted by Zecharia Sitchin (Earth Chronicles), a group of space travelers from far planet of our solar system, beyond Pluto (called Planet-X or Nibiru), came and settled on our planet half million years ago in search for gold, which they needed for thinning atmosphere of their planet. They created human as a labor for mine digging.

Together with their commander/general (biblical God), they ruled the tiny nation, Israelites, leading them to conquest of civilized Canaan and providing very advance warfare equipment.

There are listed many encounters of God with:

    Aaron (Num. 12:5; Ps. 99:6-7)

    Abraham (Gen. 17:1; 18:2; Ex. 6:3)

    Common people (1 Thess. 4:17)

    Enoch (Gen. 5:24)

    Ezekiel (Ezek. 1:28)

    Jacob (Gen. 32:28, 30)

    Isaiah (Isa. 6:8)

    Man (Deut. 5:24)

    Miriam (Num. 12:5)

    Moses (Ex. 33:9, 11; 34:10; Num. 12:8; Deut. 5:4; 34:10)

People of the camp (Ex. 19:17)

Priests, seventy elders, and nobles of Israel (Ex. 24:9-11; Deut. 5:24, 31:15)

    Samuel (2 Sam. 22:17, 20 cf. Ps. 18:16)

    Sarah (Gen. 18:15)

    Solomon (1 Kings 6:11)

    Here are the major ones:

First Encounter with Abraham, Sarah, and Lot (Genesis)

The first encounter can be referred to event when three men (later called the Lord and angels (18:20; 22-32; 19:15) were seen and spoke with Abraham before destruction of Sodom (Gen. 18:19).

In the same chapter, the Lord spoke with Abraham’s wife, Sarah, promising her the birth of a son (18:10-15).

    Second Encounter with Jacob (Genesis)

The second encounter happened when Jacob (grandson of God and Abraham [21:1-3; 25:26]) had a wrestling fight with God.

. . . there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he [God’] saw that he prevailed not against him [Jacob], he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint (32:24-25).

. . . Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou [Jacob] power with God . . . , and hast prevailed [the words said by God himself] (32:25-28).

. . . Jacob called that place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face . . . (32:30).

The event is hilarious in all points:

    -   God asked for Jacob’s name. He could not find out it by himself.

    -   Jacob fought with a man (32:24) and won the fight and only later found out that the man was God (32:28). This loss of fight by God makes church scholars try to explain Jacob’s fight with an angel but not God. However, the Bible states without any doubt that he fought with God.

    -   God wrestled with Jacob for a whole night and practically was bitten by Jacob (32:24-25).

    -   The words of Jacob I have seen God face to face has been interpreted as either Jacob’s misunderstanding or he was imagining. However, here, in verse 28, are the words of God himself, confirming that Jacob fought with God and prevailed (thou hast power with God). Do we need more proof than God’s own statement?

    -   The name of the place where the fight happened was called by Jacob as Peniel, which in Hebrew means face of God.

    -   Besides, God changed Jacob’s name for Israel (32:28), which in Hebrew literary means he that fights with God, the one who wrestled with G-d, the champion of G-d, or God wrestler. Not likely any angel had the authority to change Jacob’s name, which became the name of nation.

    -   God admitted that Jacob actually won the wrestling match. Only in the very end, at the break of a day, he broke Jacob’s thigh. If it was a test of Jacob’s strength, why did God not just disappear instead of leaving Jacob crippled? Can common man be physically stronger than True God? Can True God lose any fight? Only an ordinary man can.

    -   Not a word about an angel! The church twists the interpretation of biblical text as usual.

    -   Notice that we are not told that Jacob wrestled with a man but the man wrestled with Jacob (32:24). It shows that God was the initiator of this conflict. We see no reason for this fight.

    -   Normally (with a few exceptions) God did not let anyone see his face. But Jacob saw him face-to-face; nothing special was in it, just a common man’s face.

    Third Encounter with Moses (Exodus)

The story of Exodus began with Moses’ first encounter with God who appeared upon Mount Horeb⁷ in the strange burning bush that did not consume (3:1-6). It was during this encounter Moses was given the commission to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt (3:10-12). The meeting was followed by Israelites’ escape; the high-tech harassment of the unfortunate Pharaoh; and the forty years’ wandering of them in the desert under constant God’s counsel (13:17-22). The flying vehicles, high technology, and space age weaponry were recorded during this journey.

In order to understand how massive the operation was, we have to realize that this group of about five thousand men, women, children, and old ones together with livestock (Ex. 12:32, 38), which extended for hundreds of miles, was guided (Num. 9:18, 21), and protected from the pursuing Egyptian army by hovering air vehicle (14:24-28), which provided shade and light around the clock for months (40:38) in addition to tons of food and water daily and some unusual clothes and shoes, which never wore out in forty years (Deut. 8:4; 29:5).

There was another direct encounter with Yahweh during the forty-year journey. In chapters 19-23, God established a strict perimeter at the Mount Sinai, where his air vehicle landed and which the people should not cross. He spoke directly to the people and gave them his orders from the vehicle (19:12-23).

    Forth Encounter with Elijah

Elijah was taken up into a chariot of fire by a whirlwind (2 Kings 2:1, 11).

    Fifth Encounter with Ezekiel

The first and tenth chapters of the Book of Ezekiel and other verses described at least two separate face-to-face encounters with Supreme Being and divine abductions. The chapters provided the descriptions of the rocket helicopter and material composition of it.

    Encounters of Jesus

    - The Baptism (Matt. 3:16; 4:1 cf. Mk. 1:10; Lk. 3:22; Jn. 1:32)

    - The Transfiguration (Matt. 17:5 cf. Mk. 9:7; Lk. 9:28-36; 2 Pet. 1:17-18)

    - Ascension (Mk. 16:19; Acts 1:2, 9)

    - After the Ascension (Lk. 24:51; Jn. 7:33; 16:5; 20:17; 1 Pet. 3:22)

    __________

Now, let us go through each encounter and find out what high-advance technology the Bible is talking about. Keep in mind, please, that ancient people, being unable to comprehend advance technology and those who operated it, had misidentified the vehicles and occupants as clouds, angels, and gods.

    Flying Machinery

Who are these that fly as a cloud,

And as the doves to their windows?

    Isa. 60:8

    Mother-ship

. . . The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool . . . (Isa. 66:1).

This God’s announcement establishes that that his main abode is in the space and the earth is just a useful tool.

    **

. . . here appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire . . . and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (2 Kings 2:11).

A rocket helicopter (a whirlwind), which could fly between space and the earth, took Elijah into a mother ship. Pay attention, please — not to heaven, but into heaven, i.e., inside of a vehicle.

    **

    Revelation

I saw the holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven (21:2).

. . . the[angel] carried me away . . . to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God (21:10).

" . . . he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs.⁸ The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal . . . the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits" (21:16-17).

A huge mother ship was coming down from space and landed upon the mountaintop (21:2).

A furlong is equal to one-eighth of a mile, i.e., eight furlongs make a mile, meaning that the ship (city) was fifteen hundred miles (2,414 km [1,500 mi]). The length, the breadth, and the height of it were equal, i.e., each side of the spaceship was 603 km [375 mi].

The design of the mother ship included some kind of surrounded extension called by John a wall. It was 144 cubits⁹ high, i.e., 66 m [2,592 in].

    **

. . . the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones . . . . And the twelve gates were twelve pearls . . . (21:19, 21).

The reason of precious stones on the foundation (wall) of the vehicle is impossible to find out — they could be a part of propulsion system; communication device with other vehicles; or weaponry activators. The twelve pearls of gates could be like modern security systems access control keypads: ten of numbers + access button + cancel button.

    **

. . . the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass (21:18).

. . . the street of the city was pure gold, as it was transparent glass (21:21).

The vehicle was made from gold-tinted¹⁰ one-way glass-like¹¹ transparent material (transparent glass). The inside walkway (street) that divided the sections (labs, offices, or living quarters) also was made from gold-tinted glass.

    **

. . . a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald . . . . And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal . . . (4:3, 6).

There was a pilot’s seat (throne) with a pilot on it and a cockpit¹² (to look upon) in front of him (round about the throne). This control panel was made from bright (like crystal) glass with greenish tint (like unto an emerald). For details, see Electronics, Communication Devices.

    **

. . . her [city’s] light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal (21:11).

. . . the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it (21:23).

. . . there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun (22:25).

The ship inside was undoubtedly illuminated by incandescent, neon, or some other source of bright artificial light (no need of the sun: no night there). It had a hue of jasper¹³ and did not leave smoke or residue (clear as crystal).

    **

. . . he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God . . . (22:1).

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bear twelve manner of fruits . . . and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations (22:2).

This appears to be a greenhouse inside the spaceship with a hydroponics garden and water being pumped continuously.

What about the Tree of Life? From Genesis we learned that fruits from the tree of life . . . in the midst of the garden (Gen. 2:9) should not be eaten or even touched by Adam and Eve; otherwise, they would die (Gen. 3:1, 3).

Was it some device that looked like a tree, camouflaged for pleasant viewing? Did it have some biological enhanced fruits (or microchips) that when swallowed would activate the DNA to produce equal amounts of healthy cells for everlasting life (Gen. 3:22)?

That is probably what the gods were worried about ("The man . . . take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever" [Gen. 3:22]). They just threatened and lied to the first couple about dying (Adam lived 930 years [Gen. 5:5]). God of Genesis did not even try (that would be hopeless) to give some reason for the restriction to the first human beings; they would not understand anyway. He just simply prohibited touching it.

But inside of mother ship the true purpose of the tree of life was disclosed.

    **

. . . the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament (Rev. 11:19).

Undoubtedly, the spaceship belonged to God. Inside of it was seen the Ark of Covenant (original or duplicate). It probably worked as another end-of-communication line between the Tabernacle¹⁴, where the Ark of covenant was stored on the earth, and God’s space office, the mother ship.

    UFOs

Because biblical chapters were written by different writers with limited vocabulary, the word heaven has different meaning: a dwelling place of God (2 Chron. 6:30; Ps. 102:19); atmosphere (Gen. 7:19); sky (Lam. 4:19; Rev. 5:13); space (Gen. 1:1; Matt. 18:10); and air vehicle.

Since in the verses the word heaven is used as house of God, gate of heaven (Gen. 28:17), into heaven (2 Kings 2:11). heavens were opened (Matt. 3:16), angel descended from heaven (Matt. 28:2; Acts 10:16), throne was set in heaven (Rev. 4:2), we believe that the writers did not mean space, but some objects — UFOs.

The modern term UFO is an abbreviation of Unidentified Flying Object. We are using it because we really do not know what kind of air vehicle God had. We only recognize it as a one that belonged to God who was often in company of angels (pilots, messengers, working aliens).

    __________

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord

    (Isa. 13:5).

"Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?"

    (Isa. 60:8).

     . . . he [the Lord] came with ten thousands of saints . . . (Deut. 33:2).

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place (Ps. 68:17).

According to the Epic of Gilgamesh, the number of the first extraterrestrial arrivals from Planet-X was no more than sixty people. Only later, when the human beings reached a substantial population, Anu (the ruler of the Planet-X) arrived with his legitimate son, who was appointed by him as a Commander-in-chief (biblical Old Testament God) to take over the space community and Israelites. Growing human intelligence, independence, and idolatry of Israelites, even by upper class and royalty, forced him to increase the power of his army to the point of thousands of recruits that were supposedly brought by space shuttles or UFOs (Deut. 33:2; Ps. 68:17).

They came from far beyond our planet (the end of heaven), from the God/commander’s homeland (even the Lord). Isaiah saw pilots and passengers in the windows of the spaceships.

    **

    Genesis

. . . a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and the angels of God ascending and descending on it . . . the Lord stood above it . . . (28:12-13).

. . . How dreadful is this place! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven (28:17).

Jacob saw God’s (house of God) space vehicle (gate of heaven) on the ground (place). The ladder was standing on land and connected with the vehicle. Pay attention, please. Instead of saying that a ladder reached heaven, i.e., had been of unlimitedly height, Jacob was saying reached to heaven, meaning attached to some object.

He also saw God who stood on the top of the ladder (stood above) and watched his alien technicians (angels) working, doing some kind of work on the probably flying machinery and waking up and down (ascending and descending) on a ladder that was attached perhaps to a gantry (house—rocket’s supporting framework).

Jacob realized that he actually was seeing the house of God. In other words, he saw on the ground a gantry (gate, i.e., access), which surrounded a space shuttle that was able to go to a mother ship (heaven).

He got scared to death. Hard to blame him.

However, his fear did not obscure the accurate description that makes sense only in our space age.

    **

    Exodus

     . . . I come unto thee in a thick cloud . . . upon mount Sinai (19:9, 11, 20).

. . . that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud and waxed louder and louder . . . (19:16, 19).

. . . the people saw thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and mountain smoke . . . (20:18).

" . . . I come unto thee in a thick cloud . . . upon Mount Sinai . . . . And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly" (19:9, 18).

It looks like some kind of air vehicle (cloud) crashed on the top of the mountain military base or bunker at Sinai (Lord’s abode [24:16]) expelling fire, black smoke (as the smoke of a furnace), thunder, lightning, resulting the loud sound of emergency siren (trumpet [19:16, 19]).

It is a common interpretation of an event at Sinai as a volcano eruption. Nothing, not a word about pieces of rocks that would normally expel from a volcanic vent; running, melted, and hot burning lava; exhausted steam or falling ash. That is not possible if it did occur. The writer would not miss the description of such a spectacular and dangerous mountain activity.

    **

. . . when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount (19:13).

However, only after the danger caused by an air vehicle crash passed, the trumpet would sound the all-clear, and then it would be safe to approach the mountain.

    **

. . . Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain (19:3).

. . . Moses went up into the mount . . . the cloud covered it [Sinai] six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud (24:13; 15-16).

. . . Moses went into the midst of the cloud . . . and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights (24:18).

It is absolutely unrealistic that anyone would be invited to walk on the mountain during its eruption. None will take a risk (even under God’s order and protection) to climb on the mountaintop during a volcano activity, as Moses did.

It seems that the damage was not too bad if a spaceman was still able to talk by a loudspeaker (Deut. 5:23) and invited Moses to come over at the seventh day after the crash (24:16).

Also notable that Moses went into the mount (24:13, 18) and into the midst of the cloud,¹⁵ meaning that the meeting took place inside of God’s bunker or UFO, which was repaired after six days.

    **

. . . they [Moses and others] saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and it were [was] the body of heaven . . . (Ex. 24:10).

Sure enough, the body of heaven can only mean some of God’s vehicle, which was standing on the paved platform.

    **

. . . I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits and the breadth thereof ten cubits . . . . This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side . . . (Zech. 5:1-3).

The flying machinery was 9 m [30 ft.] long and about 5 m [15 ft.] wide, approximately half of a city block in length. It could be cylindrical/cigar shape (roll) small UFO designed to fly across the earth.

    **

" . . . the angels were gone away from them [the shepherds] into heaven . . ." (Lk. 2:13-15).

The angels, who informed the shepherds about Jesus’ birth, went inside of some air vehicle (into but not to heaven).

    **

    Matthew

. . . the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was . . . (2:9).

. . . when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary . . . (2:11).

There are a lot of arguments and discussions among theologians, astrologers, historians, and astronomers about the nature of that star.

What is significant in this event is that no celestial body (star, comet, asteroid, or planet) stops above a certain place. Even the True Godhead would not be able to break the universal law (made by Him) of celestial movements, unless He was willing to create chaos in cosmos. Besides, there are billions of stars in the night sky; some of them are very bright. Why would the wise men (2:1) pay attention to a specific one? Only if it was of unusual size and form, unusually low, and had unusual movement.

Academically speaking, the wise men visited Jesus at His birth in a manger in Bethlehem, but the fact is that this so-called star led them to a house, where a young child lived with his mother Mary. Definitely, a young child is not an infant but a toddler of about two to three years old, and a house is not a stable.

A more reasonable explanation of this event is a glowing UFO deliberately drew the attention of some men to Jesus’ child-home.

    **

. . . Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and light upon him: And a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased . . . (Matt. 3:16 cf. Mk. 1:10; Lk. 3:21; Jn. 1:32).

. . . the Spirit like a dove descending upon him (Mk. 1:9-10).

     . . . the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him . . .

    (Lk. 3:22).

     . . . the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove . . . (Jn. 1:32).

Who [the Lord] maketh his angels spirits . . . (Ps. 104:4; Heb. 1:7).

This text appears to show that a UFO attended during Jesus’ baptism. The witnesses saw probably a few UFOs (heavens) hovering above Jesus. God was in one of them (a voice from heaven) sending his angel (spirit) to assist Jesus.

All four of Jesus’ biographers did not call the spirit a dove but agreed that the spirit was descending on Jesus, like a dove, i.e., the spirit flew downward in a movement similar to a bird’s. The Bible makes it clear that angels sometimes were made by God as a spirits (Ps. 104:4).

If we will pay attention to the facts that the spirit had a body (bodily shape [Lk. 3:22]) and was soaring like a bird, we can associate this motionless flight with a parachuted individual flying device used by an angel, who emitted light upon Jesus and picked him up; Jesus did not walk out of water to the bank of the river but rather was lifted up upright (went up straightway), practically in vertical motion, into UFO’s door that was opened unto him (Matt. 3:16).

    __________

A painting (of 1710) of a Dutch artist, Aert de Gelder is titled The Baptism of Christ.¹⁶ It depicts the flying-saucer-shaped object, which is casting rays of light upon Jesus. In 1905 this painting was given to the Fitzwilliam Museum by Lord Alwyne Compton, Bishop of Ely (a cathedral city at the University of Cambridge, southeast UK).

Curiously, where did the theme of the UFO presence during Jesus’ baptism come from? How did the painting end in the bishop’s office? Why was the artist not afraid of an Inquisition accusation? How was this idea accepted in the beginning of the eighteenth century? De Gelder had access to the Vatican’s paintings and literature on Jesus Christ. He had surely seen other
