John L. Lear

John L. Lear was born in Philadelphia and received his Chemical Engineering degree in 1968. He worked in the chemical and nuclear industry for 35 years as an engineer and manager. He has always had an interest in people and particularly how their early development can affect the nature of the key decisions they make later in life. This, combined with his interest in technology and world affairs, provides the basis for this novel. He is an avid golfer and watercolor artist, and now resides in Delaware. He and his wife have three children and six grandchildren.
