He worked over the years in the Hotel business in Switzerland, Canada and Ireland where he is currently with the Shelbourne Renaissance, Dublin. Both he and his wife Ann (mother of three) enjoy skiing, mountain walking, and he still enjoys surfing when possible. He does oil paintings and his favorite reading is books about war or cosmology.
