I was born in the Molteno, a little town in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. I have always had a vivid imagination, and while at school, I enjoyed writing compositions and was always delighted when mine where chosen to be read out. It was always my desire to write a book, but having had a very full life, I kept putting it off. It is almost time to retire now from my career, so I thought it might be a good idea to start a new one in my retirement and try and publish some of the stories that I have written over the years for my grandchildren.
