Alicia Marie Hopkins is a gifted writer, artist and public speaker. She credits God for giving her the ability to share her gifts and talents with others. Most of her life work has been in the public library system. This inspired Hopkins to become an author. Her education background includes a Bachelor's Degree from Malone University, a two year certificate in Interactive Media Technologies from EHOVE Vocational School. She is also a 2004 graduate of South Central High School. She published three books in her lifetime. Two are poetry and her latest is juvenile non-fiction. In her spare time, she enjoys art,creative writing genealogy, history, and recycling. She has a passion for helping others and is inspired by the connections she makes in the world around her.

    With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:

    He is good; his love to Israel endures forever. And all the people gave a shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid, while others shouts for joy. No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy from the sound of weeping, because the people made so much noise and the sound was heard far away
