About this ebook
Todays news is filled with many horrible stories of people harming other people, or animals, or the land. Humans wreak a lot of pain and destruction on others. Author Ramzi F. Saab, believes its time for a change. In the Democratic State of Environment Intimate Minds, he offers a clear plan for reorganizing the world in a way to bring the most fulfillment to the most people.
Alternating between descriptions of elements of a manifesto/utopian plan and a speculative-fiction story, Saab calls for a soft revolution that will improve everyones life, presenting answers or solutions for most of humanitys problems in the areas of politics, economy, housing, justice, ethics, and happiness. The unique premise invites the bad guys to change the world without losing any of their benefits while the good guys need only to vote one time to start the Democratic State of Environment.
The suggested solutions presented in the Democratic State of Environment Intimate Minds were developed using the root-cause approach reflecting Saabs way of life and his respect for nature and human life.

FOREWORD
I met Ramzi Saab when I was teaching at DeVry Institute of Technology (now DeVry University) in Los Angeles, California. Ramzi was a student, although he probably should have been a teacher. He was probably the most inquisitive, talkative, friendly student I ever had. In a fairly short time we became friends. Unfortunately, because of the immigration laws, he had to go back to Lebanon, where he has lived until the present time. I was thrilled to finally get a contact e-mail address for him some years later because there was always some kind of disaster going on in Lebanon, and I worried about him. Turns out he survived and had married and had two beautiful children, whom I have seen thanks to Facebook. Sometime later he told me he had written a book and wanted me to make corrections of his English.
I read this book that he calls science fiction and I called a utopian suggestion to improve the world. He postulated a lot of ideas I disagreed with, and rather than focusing on the whole, I picked at little parts of the book. Then he sent me a story called Intimate Minds, a predictable story about two extraordinary people. I thought it was kind of corny. I didn’t take it seriously. Meanwhile, I plugged away at making corrections and suggestions, such as, I would omit this entire paragraph.
Always polite and respectful, Ramzi ignored my suggestions and to some extent my corrections. I ended up correcting the grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc., three times. In the process, I came to respect his suggestion about the possible solutions presented in the Democratic State of Environment.
The Democratic State of Environment and the Intimate Minds is a most thought-provoking book. Especially now, its suggestions are needed, and oh, how I wish they could be realized. As I write this, we have just witnessed another mass shooting about fifty miles from where I sit. Another crazy man and woman killed fourteen people and wounded many more in San Bernardino, California. Last month, it was Paris, Nigeria, and Lebanon. Right now, the heads of states of the world are meeting to put an end to climate warming, while the US Congress (bought and paid for by the American oil industry) refuses to back up the president, who wants to sign a pact to save the world. We literally have murder and mayhem every day in our world. Ramzi Saab has a workable, feasible idea to save it. This book deserves a close look. Our world needs a global soft revolution,
as Mr. Saab calls it, to change its ways before our planet is unlivable and before everyone is dead or too terrorized to enjoy life.
