How To Justify A War For Profit?

• Do not create fear among the American people while the plans of the attack on the World Trade Center are still in progress.

• Do not inform the American people of the looming terrorist attack against the American homeland until it happens.

• Capitalize on the chaos and fear of the American people after the attack on the World Trade Center.

• After the attack on the World Trade Center, get the people in your administration to start making public and false statements about the connection between the terrorist attack and the Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

• Constantly instill fear in the American people with warnings of more looming death and destruction.

• Organize your staff to overembellish intelligence and manufacture intelligence often to support your plans for war.

• Advise and mislead the American people on a daily basis, each time emphasizing the false connection between the terrorist attack and the nation of Iraq.

• Continue to instill fear in the American people with half-truths and outright lies at regular intervals.

• Use the Office of the Vice President to keep all members of Congress out of the loop and remove them from any congressional oversight.

• Create a clandestine group of the Office of Special Plans and remove them (also) from congressional oversight.

• Go to the United Nations and lie your ass off about wishing to work with them and get a unanimous vote from the Security Council for your resolution on the matter for war.

• When career intelligence officials inform you that your analysis of the collected intelligence does not borne out the justification to go to war, you tell them that they’re full of shit.

• Use the massive terror attacks as a rhetorical tool against the people who deny you in your pursuit of a war for personal profit.

• When no proof of your analysis of the intelligence can be justified, bribe other nations such as Pakistan and Turkey with billions of dollars in trade agreements and weapons to get them to go along with your war for profit.

• In your State of the Union to Congress and to the American people, lie your asses off about the threat posed by Iraq by using falsified evidence and crudely forged documents from Niger, that Saddam Hussein is building a nuclear arsenal.

• Then send your secretary of state to the United Nations to (also) lie his ass off about the justification to go to war against Iraq.

• You use the discredited intelligence from Niger to convince Congress that a war against Iraq is absolutely necessary because of the nuclear threat in the hands of Saddam Hussein.

• Dismiss the fact that none of the weapons you used to terrify the American people have ever been found.

• Continue to lie about the Iraq connections to the terrorist attack and to Al Qaeda.

• And last, but not least, continue to lie no matter what prevails to discredit your logic to go to war in Iraq.

• Lie about the weapons that Iraq did not possess.

• Lie about the nuclear arsenal that Saddam Hussein did not possess or attempt to possess.

• Lie about the threat to the American people of looming death and destruction, deepening their fear.

• Lie about the connections between Saddam Hussein and Iraq to Al Qaeda.

• Lie about how much the Iraq war would cost.

• Lie about your personal goals and your intentions to profit immensely from the Iraq war.

• And whatever develops in the interim, never, ever stop lying your ass off!

INTRODUCTION

Who Is Dick Cheney?

Dick Cheney was the significant entity that kicked the evil up a notch in the Bush administration. Grandpa, Prescott Bush who financed the Hitler war machine that was responsible for the death of millions during World War II, pales in the shadow of the Humpback Pillsbury Doughboy from Wyoming, Richard Bruce Cheney.

One could question why Mr. Chubby would leave a position at Halliburton where his income as the CEO was $36,086,635 in 2000 for a job as vice president that pays $35,886,635 less than his position at Halliburton?

And the answer is a thirty-two-billion-dollar gain and profit for Halliburton in Iraq alone!

Since Cheney and George W. arrived in Washington, Cheney has managed to accomplish tremendous financial gains for him and the Bush family. He met with the heads of oil, gas, and nuclear power companies to establish a national energy plan. Cheney’s close relationship with Ken Lay of Enron, Presser Industries, Kellogg, and Root Engineering and Construction, all part of Halliburton, has made this one of the most friendly administrations in the history of the White House and vice presidency.

While Cheney led Halliburton, the increase in government contracts was 91 percent. The amount that the energy companies gave to the Bush/Cheney presidential campaign was $1,800,000.

Cheney assumed the helm of Halliburton in 1995. As one of the largest providers of equipment and services to the oil industry, Halliburton needed a chief executive who could ensure that the company gets full government support. Cheney’s close connections to top government and industry decision makers made him perfect as the head of Halliburton.

During his five years as CEO, Cheney doubled the size of Halliburton’s contracts totaling 2.3 billion dollars. He convinced the export-import bank of the United States to lend Halliburton $1.5 billion backed by U.S. taxpayers. Some of the loans went to a Russian company with ties to drug dealing and organized crime.

The August 2, 2000, report by the Center for Public Integrity suggests that the drug money has played a role in the successes achieved by Halliburton under Cheney’s tenure as CEO of Halliburton from 1995 to 2000. Halliburton’s most famous subsidiary, heavy construction and oil giant Brown and Root, reveals that Brown and Root’s past as well as the past of Dick Cheney himself connect to the international drug trade on more than one occasion.

This is not the first time that Brown and Root has been connected to drugs and may also be a key player in Wall Street’s effort to maintain domination of the half-trillion-dollar-a-year global drug trade and its profits.
